@itsjessicabraun regarding the lawless lip oils my lips for the 1st time in my life got some weird type of scabs or extreme dry patches on my lips while using it, I stopped and healed, then again use them and patches appeared again. Definitely the lawless lip oils are not the best.

    • @susanjeffries5108

I agree. They inspire me to do the same. To do all categories at once feels overwhelming and less motivating for me personally. I like the idea of doing a little bit here and there and making continual progress instead of all at once. I'll enjoy seeing your process regardless, though! Definitely do as much or as little at a time as you like! 😊 💄

I agree! I did martial arts for 10 years. I got my black belt and everything! It's still to this day one of the biggest accomplishments I've ever done! I started when I was 11 and it was one of the absolute best things my parents ever did for me! I loved it so so much & I wish I was still doing it. It really does teach you important life skills & really helped me focus. I struggle with ADD & it helped me so much. That's awesome you teach the kids! They are just the cutest too 💛

Jess, you made me cry! When you’re vulnerable and share your struggles and trials, it creates a safe place for us to be vulnerable. Don’t ever apologize for being human! We’re all doing our best trying to survive and thrive in life. I would definitely recommend seeing a therapist on a regular basis. We’ve never been taught how to cope with being an adult. It’s a lot sometimes and we need to fortify our mental strength before those low times come in. We need to become mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically stronger. Therapy is a wonderful way to not only help yourself but also your children. What a wonderful example you are showing your children by going to therapy. Hang in there mama! You’re stronger than you know and you can get through whatever challenges you’re facing. Thank you for being my “comfort RUclipsr” I’m sending you a big hug and lots of love ❤

  • @NoYeahNah

One of the first things I remember reading about stress and emotional wellbeing is that events in your life that are joyful and exciting are just as exhausting as going through a major trauma. We are all grateful for the wonderful things in our lives, but the highs can cause burnout as much as the lows.
These events and changes take a toll on our bodies in a very visceral way. It's okay to be exhausted, to cry, to feel overwhelmed. Once you factor in the stress and worry of negative experiences as well, you start to realise that there is a valid reason for experiencing low moods. Take care of yourself x

Just thought I’d share that I used to also hate the rose inc blush due to the dry formula. I found that once I broke the top layers and really swirl in my brush to almost warm it up it was perfect. It’s now a blush I love
Also the Dior forever concealer is now my holy grail. I put some on and tap it in with a dense flat brush. I’m having you use a foundation brush as I haven’t the perfect concealer brush. I let it dry a couple of seconds first and it’s great. I don’t even need to set with powder!

I actually really appreciate when you, and other creators, are vulnerable. Obviously it’s important to have boundaries and whatever you choose not to share is okay, but I think there’s something really refreshing and even necessary in dismantling the unrealistic perceptions of life through the lens of social media. Even though most of us understand intellectually that people only show the best aspects of their lives, it can absolutely still make one feel insecure and inadequate. I’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed and anxious lately, so thank you for making me feel less alone in those feelings ❤

I am an every week day chicken salad kind of person. I have an airfryer, so I pretty much toss the chicken breasts, paprika, italian seasoning, and garlic powder, so, while I chop some cucumber, red bell peppers, cheese, and some grape tomatoes, it gets cooked. Also, on Mondays, I cook some farro or barley to add to the salad mix. I toss it all with some of those green mixes from the supermarket and it is done. Normally I don't add dressings, but every now and then I'll buy the CAVA tzatziki to add to my salad.

I feel like we all have those times when we feel sad or lonely or depressed. I cried this morning, then pulled myself together, I may cry more later, there's more good then bad in life, I feel it all if that makes sense.

As far as quick lunches go, I’m all about meal prep because it’s the only way we eat healthy lunches. I’ll do a sheet pan meal with marinated chicken tenderloins, sweet potatoes and broccoli or something, sometimes it’s Asian meatballs with soba noodles and sautéed bok choy, chicken shawarma with quinoa and zucchini and tzatziki. I get creative with it and end up looking forward to healthy lunch every day. I work with my husband and prep enough for both of us for 4 days and we eat out on Fridays. It’s a good routine/balance for us.

I find you such a pure and onest person. And its good to let us see your emotions. It makes you human. And not fake you dont have to be cheerfull al the time. Maybe whe can help you in some way or the other. Maybe a nice comment or atvise. Love you and love watching you and your family. ❤❤❤

In a Bowl: first layer rice, heated shredded chicken (i get the maple leaf kind), a bit of the dill pickle salad, boiled egg, avocado, some of the dressing from the dill pickle salad. It’s 5
mins to put together and so good.

Loved so much of this convo! I see a therapist & sometimes it's regularly & other times it's for a "tune up". I've also started doing the square breathing exercise for 5 minutes to center myself, whether that's in the middle of the day or if I wake up in the middle of the night mind racing. 🙏🥰

I have a black belt in Karate. I started when I was 5 and it was such a good memory and activity from growing up. The discipline, dedication and patience it required was great. I taught karate as well and I can see how it helped the kids mature from the start of the year to the end.

I really understand about the friendships. It was very good question, indeed. I am almost 37 and me and my friends we are not that close anymore. Because just life happend and it is understandable, to me at least. (But there are some other people who just do not get it, my brother is an example. He is married and still do not accept it well, that ppl are getting busy with their lives, and more responsibilities, and that sometimes, as you said, our paths just separate and goind in different directions. He is blaming them and he is mad at them 😅 and he is even 1 year older than me.)
About decluttering - I love the mezmerizing videos with big makeup collections and decluttering, but it is useful in another way when monthly I can get an update about what you like and with what you are not satisfied. So whatever you do, I will watch it with pleasure.
I wish to you from my heart more peace and calmness for future ❣🫂

I have the same wavy hair as you and also found that highlighting really changes the texture of my hair which is why I’ve stopped after years. I love my lightened hair but definitely felt I always had to “do it” for it to look nice.
