It's March 18th, 2024 and the price did go up to $33. I recently ordered this for the same reasons you did. BTW, another great option for Motovlogging is the Osmo Action 4 paired with the DJI Mic 2 via Bluetooth. Clean and wireless. The Mic 2 can be held in place in the chin piece with rare earth magnets.
WOW, that is a big jump in price. I'm guessing it's due to the beginning of riding season. I still think it is worth the price. I'm very happy with it, you will be too. Thanks for the tip on Action 4 with the DJI Mic 2, I would love to see (and hear) a video of the quality. Drop a link if you have it. Ride safe and thanks for watching.
@@MRMRS2wheeler I think the inflation factor has more to do with the price rise than anything else but either way, we are paying more for everything. I like the simplicity of this product. There are lots of videos with the Mic 2 paired with the Osmos Action 4. Total cost for both is $400 right now which is a great deal considering the quality of both products. I don't tend to publish videos with me doing the talking.
@@underthedrone2735 im sure inflation plays a big role. I will definitely look into the action 4 as I have had issues with the Gopros, they are not reliable. The only issue I am seeing at the moment is the fact that you can only connect 1 transmitter mic, and we use 2.
@@MRMRS2wheeler It can only bluetooth one TX at a time but if you get the set with the receiver I think it will do two. Of course the Mic 2 alone is only $99 but the full set is around $350 so that's a big jump in price. There may be other ways to skin that fish but I'm not to that level of savy.
@@underthedrone2735 I have done some research, and it only allows one transmitter over bluetooth as you mentioned. In order to use both, I would have to connect the receiver to the camera which defeats the purpose.
Looks like a pretty good deal. It looks like it works. Did you also see that Canada dropped all requirements as far as COVID-19 to get into the country. Looks like it’s completely open to go through to get to Alaska. Just found out yesterday. Looking forward to hooking up With you soon. Stay safe this is Myakka city riders
It's funny that this just showed up on my feed as I just bought and installed this on my Shark Modular. I had one that had straps through the lens but the Shark has close tolerances when putting the chin guard back. This is the only one I could find that formed to my helmet. I have a flat black helmet so it looks good on the helmet.
Just received mine today and will be installing it tomorrow. Came across this video and noticed my instructions say to 'add slight bends near the tips to ease tension after pre-shaping'. I thought somewhere I read about the ends wanting to come loose slightly. Have you had any issues with that? Great video, by the way!
Thanks my friend. I did have some issues with the adhesion as I showed in the video, and when I reached out to the company, they quickly replaced my unit with another which included a "primer" as they called it, I haven't had an issue since. I hope you were sent that one. I think it's the best mount I have ever used, and I am very happy with it. One tip, make sure you align it right the first time. Don't stick and remove it, leave it on 24 hours before you put the camera on. Ride safe.
Tbh I did have an issue with it a few months ago on a camping trip. To be fair, it was around 100°f and I dropped the helmet on the chin mount. It came loose on one side. I removed the other to avoid risking losing the camera. I reached out to the company and they informed me that they redesigned the inside of the unit so out wouldn't pull up as much, and sent me a free replacement. This one is working great so far. Used it on 3 trips so far.
ha! i just read your review on Amazon! i just got my mount today and it's not even the motoradds one, it's some cheap Chinese one with a completely different mounting mechanism on the front, the long mount part is split into 4 thin ends rather than one solid bar, and the glue isn't even 3m, it's some God knows what chinese goop. didn't even come in the box, got it in a little ziplock bag. it says 'motoradds flex slim' right beside 'made in China' like...ffs😅😊
Great content you guys! Hey we’ve got one of our own in need. Don’t know if you’re sub’d with Itchymoche n Vee….. great brother been giving us great content along time, great stories to share. Check out his latest video. His wife’s really been battling. Thanks bro.
I've been there before, is not fun. To be honest, I don't feel as comfortable with gloves as I do without, I have tried about 10 different types and non feel comfortable, some actually hurt. On any long rides I wear gloves. This was a short test ride, just a few miles from home on a local road with speeds around 30-40 mph (except for riding one exit on the highway). That's not to say I can't go down, but I guess I'm more willing to take the risk. I do appreciate the concern and taking the time to voice it 🙏
Wow this looks great. Thanks for sharing. I haven't seen these before.
I'm really liking it. Worth a shot.
Thanks for watching.
Looks like a awesome mount. I actually just purchased a new helmet so this maybe a great option for me. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Rick, that's great 👍. Let me know how you like it.

sure looks better than my 'traditional' mount.. thanks BTW, that wasn't JW's you stopped at for pastries, was it? :)
No, it is "Buenos Aires Bakery" an Argentinean bakery. ☺️
It's an Argentinian Bakery in Cooper City. Delicious pastries, cakes & sandwiches.

@MRMRS2wheeler I did get the one with the primer. Thanks for the tip!
I been looking this and finally some company has made it
Works great.
I use this mount on all out helmets.
I'm very happy with it.
Thanks for watching 👍
How’s it held up?

Did he mount last on the helmet?
Used it today. Still holding strong.
Great mount.
