Thank you so much for this walk! It was most enjoyabe. I lived in Israel in the 1970 and remember that we could walk everywhere without all these special walk ways. It is very wel organized, even though it is not fair that Muslims can go where they wish but other people are excluded from what they see as "theirs".
The Romans were excellent architects, builders and engineers, but the leaders were also nasty in their revenge; imagine destroying such a thing of beauty as that Temple just to prevent people from ever returning! Their reasoning I think was their desire for Power.
The Muslim actions strike me a childish; destroying temples and churches and building a mosque on top and having a cemetry in front of a gate...really!? The emotions here I think are spite and a "na na nana nah" attitude.
I think it is about time that mankind comes together and decides that cooperation and the wellbeing of all citizens is really what we all want....Let's pray for it....
I was in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount in 1999. Although our small Christian group was allowed to enter the Dome of the Rock at that time, I chose not to go in as I had no peace about doing that. I feel/ felt the same way about not going onto the Temple Mount. I feel that the antichrist people are the ones keeping the Jews off and out of the Jews sacred place . I have no interest in being in any space Mo’s followers have claimed as their holy site..it’s blasphemous. I do understand the Jews who live in Israel visiting the site though.

My wife and I visited Israel two weeks after the 1967 War and we were among the first people to enter the Temple Mount after all the Jordanian land mines had been cleared away. We, as Jews, entered the Dome of the Rock but Allah did not strike us dead.
By the same token, I do not recall HaShem striking any Muslim dead!!!!

The Quran is actually bits and pieces taken from the Torah, the first 5 books of the Bible. This is why Allah has been shown to show more favours upon the children of Israel. Read Quran 2:47. It clearly says Allah prefers the children of Israel above any others. Read Quran 2:40 to 2:48, it’s all about how Allah has set up covenants with them.

I was there in the 90s and could not approach the Golden Gate from inside the mount for fear of blowing it up. Wish I had known about the stones at the staircase at the time. I loved my month of wandering around Israel - it was life changing for me.

I visited Jerusalem, Israel with a tour group in 2014. Our 10-yr old son came with us. His father had visited Jerusalem, Israel at the age of ten with his own parents. I still pray for our Israeli tour guide, Arie Harel. Please, pray for him.

Thank you for taking the time to do this tour. Seeing the gate where Jesus entered and will come again is so special! You are correct that the graveyard will not stop him! He raises the dead, so there will be nothing there to make Him unclean. I wonder how soon His coming will be? The Lord God Messiah, creator of the universe will come again through that gate! WOW! Shabbat Shalom! I can't believe how "very empty" the Temple Mount is. In my five visits to Jerusalem, Israel, I went up to the Mount (Moriah/Maria/Mary) >Genesis 22: 2-8, 13_ Luke 22: 2-8, 19_ Psalm 22: 2-8, 16), the same Abraham saw from afar off, Three times; the last time was October 4, 2023, Three days before the October 7 "Al Aqza Flood" Hamas attack. It was the Fifth Day of Tabernacle, and a Jewish group entered the Al Aqza Mosque for whatever reason, and yet another brawl took place. I left Israel on my scheduled departure day back to the dis-United States of America on October 8th. Watching from my window (videotaping) a dozen Hamas rockets being intercepted above my head, over the western Jerusalem sky was as surreal as watching this video: it's like having a bad dream: in the "Twighlight Zone"; quite scary! I truly believe that October 7 marked the beginning of Jacob's Trouble, as it is written (Jeremiah 30: 7). Yeshuah HaMosiach is at the "Door" and knocking: I pray for all to come to know God's only Salvation (REVELATION 7:10), our Lord and Savior, Jesus, The Christ. The Lamb of God. Amen.

I couln't have gone around the temple moun't due to back dissability , my sisters went though, my mum coulnt go either becuause of her big age of 90 when we where there I think. Im just so blessed that my mum got to see Isreal and Jerusalem , before the Good Lord Jesus took here home. So yea blessed becaue she was with with the Lord JUST before covid regs made travel impossible. I first visited Israel in 1980. We entered the temple mount somewhere around the northwest corner, and we women had to have our legs and shoulders covered. We were allowed to go into the dome of the rock but we had to take our shoes off. I don't remember for sure where we exited the mount but it was likely on the north side. When I went back in 2015 we entered via the current bridge, and existed at the north. But before that... our Israeli guide took us to the east side of the Al Aqsa mosque. He told us to walk north along the east wall of the mosque where there are windows, don't stop and don't try to take pictures, but walk on tiptoe as you pass a window and look in. He told us the columns we would see holding up the roof dated back to the Royal Stoa.
LOVE the part at the Eastern Gate. “Jesus entered, not as a lion, but as a lamb to be sacrificed.”
Thank you Jesus! Thank you for your sacrifice for me, and for the world. Thank you for humbling yourself, and submitting to death on the cross. Taking our punishment upon yourself. Thank you that we have such a hope to look forward to when you come again as a lion. You made a way where there was no way. You forged a path between man and God so that we can commune together.

I look at those domes , gloves and whatever they stand for and I get nauseated , that only happens to me if during praying for people I encounter the presence of evil manifestations. I am prayer warrior and serve only the One and Only Living God Adonai the Holy One.. to Him goes all the Glory, Amen
I lived in Jerusalem in 1982-1983 when I attended the American Institute of Holy Land Studies. Their college was off the Jaffa Gate to the right out that path. All the way to the end, it had a cemetery on the grounds. The old city walls ran thru my dorm room and King David's tomb was at the top of the hill. Don't know if it's still there. I was also, at the time engaged (eventually) to an American Marine stationed at the embassy.
I miss Israel. I miss its people. I think I learned more on the streets than in class. I went to class to take the tests 😂. I went everywhere, nothing stopped me, it always felt so safe.
Most of what you're showing is completely changed since I was there. I was on a couple digs while there, it would be interesting to see deeper into that area next to the men's side. That hadn't been uncovered fully in '82. I'd be interested in the arches on the woman's side too.
Have they gone any further with Hezekiah's tunnel? Finished exploring the Gehon Springs? Uncovered more under the Mosque on temple mound?
I'll probably never get to return, I have a damaged back and neck but I live thru videos now. When I left I was known as a sabra and I'm of German origins so I think I left a good impression.

My late wife and I visited the Temple Mount on a TBN/Hal Lindsay tour. We were allowed to enter the mosque after removing our shoes. It was surprising to see the tip of the Rock sticking up from the floor with a carved groove visible on one side. I suppose for sacrificed blood to drain.

It's so rich with history and beautiful there, love seeing the temple mount.
I've just been reading a book that placed the Holy of Holies at the site of the Dome of the Scrolls based on a) the floor at that point being the threshing floor of Araunah, and b) it being in line with the golden gate.
The Temple Mount is currently desecrated with that monstrosity baring blasphemies on it!!!

Well hopefully those in Israel will hold the Temple Mount for the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Because no one will live that enters the temple except from the original tribes of Hebrews. So sad anyone not from the original tribes of Israel will be allowed into the temple. That is unless they don’t mind dropping dead on their way into the temple. Isaiah 27:1-6
[1]In that day the Lord will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.
[2]In that day, "A vineyard of wine, sing of it!
[3]"I, the Lord, am its keeper; I water it every moment. So that no one will damage it, I guard it night and day.
[4]"I have no wrath. Should someone give Me briars and thorns in battle, Then I would step on them, I would burn them completely.
[5]"Or let him rely on My protection, Let him make peace with Me, Let him make peace with Me."
[6]In the days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will blossom and sprout, And they will fill the whole world with fruit.
