One thing I've always loved is on the oldies station when they start a Motown song, you hear that same drum intro and don't know which of several songs it'll be. It's kind of a split-second guessing game
I was listening to a song and trying to figure out *what this beat is called* because there's so many songs I like with it; thanks for such a cool and concise video!
Thanks for watching man - loads of them! Reach Out I'll Be There, Four Tops: ruclips.net/video/Tw9Zdzfoip4/видео.html Uptight, Stevie Wonder: ruclips.net/video/kZf3Byq8oLA/видео.html It's The Same Old Song, Four Tops: ruclips.net/video/CkKJy4UaPHM/видео.html
Hi Mike, do you have any experience with the own song choice aspect of the trinity r and p exams. I find the grade 6 and 7 song pools a bit dry. Can you recommend songs or give advice on how to find appropriate songs as the syllabus is very vague and unclear? Thanks.
Brilliant! No waffle - excellently clear.
Cheers Steven, thanks for watching!
Good job. Love your attitude and energy.
Such a simple and insightful lesson! Can't wait to try this

Thanks man!!!!
Reminds me 'Losing Sleep' rythm by Edwyn Collins.
super !!
Just seen your Motown drum fills. Any specific tune ups?
i love this. the sad thing is I have to do this but with chair drumming because of covid we can't do it on the real drum set at school.
Really? School still open though right? Why is the drum kit off limits?!
All you need is the standard motown tambourine on the back beat and you’re sorted
Sounds like Van Halen intruder. Thanks !
Спасибо! Мне очень понравилось что вы делаете!
Cheers!
And at what speed should this rhythm be played?
130-140?
@@MrMitaj any 😂
