I absolutely love the COWL. Totally agree with you in regards to wearing a shawl. So your COWL is perfect. Pretty please and fingers crossed… when time allows, please make a tutorial for it. I love the fitted neckline and the whole design! Simply brilliant. I SO enjoy all your You Tube Shorts as well as Video Tutorials. I’m going to start making that hat. Yes I would definitely want to make your showl. I feel the same way about a shawl. All your sweaters are always so pretty, love the color combos. I’m working on a sweater for my other daughter and I also need to work on for her friend my other daughter from another mother. My son asked for a rainbow circle poncho and I haven’t found a pattern for it so I’m going to have to design it myself. I’m working on a scarf for myself at work in any spare time I get and one of my bosses brung me Star Wars crochet kit of itty-bitty finger puppets to do for him for Christmas as a present, which is a commission. So I am very busy right now plus working 40 hours a week. Also thanks for brightening up my day. Hope you’re having a great day.❤🤍💚🎄

I absolutely love your yellow sweater your wearing now especially with your hat. I need to make me a colorful everyday hippie hat like thid. The shaw/scarf combo is brilliant. I love the colors you picked i like the whole ensemble outfit your wearing. Your joy and excitement makes me happy. I been crocheting for years but mostly blankets and scarves, wash cloths. I have recently been watching utube channels on hats im now obsessed have tried 4 different styles i can't wait to try yours and would love a shawlette scarf tutorial soon. Love what you made and are making I dont do Christmas as I have no family I have my pets it's a normal day here but I am not unhappy I live in a rented in Hastings East Sussex walks here it is lovely been here 22 years Love every day here. I have a pug Blossom and Two kittens Lilly and Violet they are full of many colours Tortoiseshell 7 months old I did get them spade. love all your videos am color mad the brighter the better.
Aww we have a pug too. He is called Lenny and has just turned 6 🐾

I have two of your Hexi cardigan sweaters on the go but then I got commissioned to do one of my amigurumi dolls because I donated one of my dolls to my daughter’s work gift basket. She works at the hospital! Almost finished so can’t wait to get back to my on the go projects!

I love your showl. I'm not keen on shawls either. I love the way the same pattern can look so different in other yarns, they all look fantastic. I have a hexagon cardigan and scrappy sweater on the hooks. You ought to hear what comes out my potty mouth lol.
I'm a terrible swearer but try my hardest to keep my channel clean as I have young relatives following me and some of my daughters school friends 🤣
I just finished making a breast cancer awareness blanket. And I'm making a blanket for my oldest daughter for Christmas. It's huge granny squares with flowers at the center of each! I'll be making loveys for my twin granddaughters for Christmas. A few months ago, I made your hexi-cardis for my 2 year old twin granddaughters! They look adorable! I'm thinking of attempting hexi-cardis for Barbie dolls!! Lol

I definitely want to crochet your bohemian cap! I remember in the late 60's and early 70's always wearing a cap very similar. I have a small head, so I will be using a 5.0, H, hook. Will get started after finishing family gifts and will get back to you. I also love your showl. Great idea!

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE all of the colors together. It just made me laugh haha The orange does not clash. hahaha With your vibes, I feel like it'd be weirder if you had a "normal" nail color. :P

Love your catch up videos they seem personal to the viewer like were friends (if that makes sense) I would love to know about your crafty background like what first interested u about crochet, who taught u. You've mentioned a like of knitting and sewing also is it all textile kinda stuff that u like? I started crochet for my mental health, I'm a mother to children with additional needs and it's my let out. Your tutorials are fabulous especially if your not the best at reading patterns like myself and your more of a visual learner. I have 4 kids and u have a fabulous figure what's your secret? I'm guessing good genes and yoga. Right now I will rein in all the questions my bad I'm just a nosey cow 😂
Ha ha no worries. So I randomly taught myself to sew back in 2011 and I used to attempt to make myself clothes. Then my family started to grow and I had no space to leave my sewing machine out and it was so much effort having to lug it out at 9pm when all of the kids were in bed! I then tried knitting but didn't know how to fix my mistakes so they ended up holey (this is still the case! 😆) I also got some crochet hooks around the same time but could barely make a chain so just put it all in the back of my wardrobe and forgot about it! Then about 3 years later I was on Instagram and I saw a bright funky granny square and knew instantly I had to learn how to make one. I also remembered that I already had some hooks stashed away. A few months past and I finally had a go. I learned the basics from RUclips tutorials and from that moment on I literally couldn't stop. I loved how easy it was to pick up and put down and it felt the huge hole that sewing had left! I also 4 children, my eldest son is autistic and my eldest daughter has something called Prader-Willi Syndrome, then my next daughter has a diagnosis of selective mutism and also has sensors issues. It's all going on over here! Busy busy busy 🤣❤️
I was thinking that pattern in a lighter cotton would be nice for summer, in black…it’s amazing how it looks without the different colours! Really nice and unusual. I used to live near Peterborough, BMF was great 😊

Ah amazing! Yes we went to the bmf during the 90s and it was always so much fun. I loved the wall of death with the motorbikes. I was so fearless as a child but I would be too scared to watch it as an adult 🤣

Hi again, I remember you said you were learning to knit? lol I’m still knitting my sons cardigan and I have my first hexi started but now I’m crocheting Xmas decorations snow flakes in cotton to send overseas in cards as they are light and thin. I also just started crocheting a mesh beret for my bro in law he has long hair and I’m having a go at modifying a pattern to make it bigger but now I’ve seen your hat maybe I’ll try that shape. I like your cowl and your colour choices. I think if I wore one with a jacket it would give the effect of a crochet jumper 😊

That cowl is so beautuful would love for you to do a tutorial on it, feel the same about shawls they can be very pretty but would probably use them like your cowl with triangle on the front.

I made my earrings out of polymer clay and I used a silk stencil with black acrylic paint to get the sun and moon design ❤️ and my glasses are from Zeelool ❤️
My youngest sons birthday is 21st ( he's going to be 33 ) I've got lots of wips but not Christmas pressies they are all done now I crochet fast but have arthritis in my hands and have to keep stopping I'm mostly making Snoods for local charity shops
Aww my daughter will be turning 7 on the 21st our little Christmas baby ....who never stopped crying ha ha 🤣🤣🤣

Question on the hat. How is this different than a Newboy hat? They seem similar. I bought the pattern from your Etsy months ago. 😊

@@CraftandaCuppa I did some looking around Pinterest and Etsy. Your hat has a bit more room but it does look close to a Newsboy hat. I only saw this as I wanted to make one of the Pinterest patterns. The instructions wasn't well written, so I didn't end up making a Newsboy hat. I'm hoping to do a charity in 2024 where I make at least one cap or hat a day so I can take them to a Women's shelter or the City Mission for homeless men to wear during a cold Cleveland, Ohio winter. I have some crochet friends around Ohio that might chip in a hat or two, Even if they don't, just think I should have 365 beanies or caps made by this time next year to do my act of charity! 😀
