I am picking up my 12t this weekend or early next week...but I'm used to fishing out of a sit in kayak...so I'm not sure that I'll need to sit up any higher...but it seems like everyone's doing it

Can you paddle your kayak at any speed or do you have to have a trolling motor setup?

Yeah it will move pretty good tried the trolling motor setup to much weight

The original sot ascends had pivoting seat,

I don't think knows the proper technique in dragging kayak on ground. He probably lifted the bow up off the ground and drug a hole in the stern....
