Hmm, I can't remember the last time I ever encountered a car battery that was built on the NiCd or NIMH chemistry. This is a car battery charger , not for use with laptops , AA, AAA or any electronic device batteries, so that point is none.

Yes, you can charge Renogy 100 amp hour batteries with a 400 watt solar system. However, it is important to note that the charging time will vary depending on the following factors:
The size and efficiency of your solar panels
      The amount of sunlight available
      The ambient temperature
The state of charge of your battery
In general, you can expect to fully charge a Renogy 100 amp hour battery with a 400 watt solar system in 4-6 hours. However, if the ambient temperature is low or the solar panels are not receiving direct sunlight, the charging time may be longer.
If you are running multiple systems, it is important to make sure that the total power consumption of all of your systems does not exceed the capacity of your solar system. Otherwise, you may run the risk of overdischarging your battery.
Here are some tips for charging your Renogy 100 amp hour battery with a 400 watt solar system:
Position your solar panels in a location where they will receive direct sunlight for most of the day.
Make sure that the solar panels are clean and free of debris.
Use a solar charge controller to regulate the charging process and prevent overcharging.
Monitor the state of charge of your battery and avoid discharging it below 50%.
If you have any specific questions about charging your Renogy 100 amp hour battery, please consult the manufacturer's instructions.
