    Kratos was overcome by Freya ONLY because he realized last minute it was her. Kratos was still clashing on relatively equal footing with her up until that point and he even stated he never wanted to fight her because they'd been friends.
    Kratos was prepared to fight again after Nidhogg was killed when she broke her seal if her answer was she couldn't forgive him.
    Kratos has been holding back since 2018 because of the rage he has and was terrified when he knocked Thor's block off at the end of their first fight.
    Kratos made it a point to bring Atreus with him partly so he could suppress even more of that power and even when we do see it, it's only when he has to solve a puzzle or complete an obstacle. Kratos treats his godly might, like any of his three weapons as more of a tool than an actual means of protecting himself.
    Maybe she has him beat in terms of magic because the magic of Greece died with it but even then, he could summon cyclones, lightning and even conjure the spirits of the dead. Hell it's been stated he was strong as Atlas who could up the world on his shoulders and that was when he was younger.
    Freya had to help him with a few enemies, MAYBE but that still doesn't explain how he was able to beat Heimdall who no one thought he had a chance of beating on his own. MAYBE with Gna she had to help him, but she's not beating Kratos especially when she was recently unsealed.
    You people need to stop downplaying Kratos.

      And even with the magic, Kratos showed twice in the DLC that he's capable of overcoming/breaking through magic when he wants to. Or at least some magic. He forced his way into Valhalla through brute strength. Freya was shocked when she heard that. Then he later BROKE Valhalla by breaking Mimir out of that cage when he wasn't supposed to. Something he shouldn't be able to do inside Valhalla.

      Gotta agree, he seemed to downplay kratos soo much, kratos journals is like that becoz he was humble and the writers dont want him to come off as his olden days where he would say his enemies is weak but i do agree that tyr is leagues above freya, if this is greek kratos he would smoke everyone here with all his amp, unlike this kratos the younger one's amp is mostly killing related

    Finishing Ragnarök for the first time I was disappointed with Týr, although the plot twist of it being Odin in disguise was genius. I’m so glad Valhalla did him justice. They made Týr into a multi mythology badass, wielding 4 cherished weapons from his travels. The most skilled fighter of all the Allfather’s offspring. He’s probably the hardest non-Valkyrie/Berserker boss in the game. Kratos himself admits that Týr is among the fiercest opponents he’s ever faced, and that’s a long list that includes Zeus himself.

      I agree. I’m really happy that Týr got done right as this was the best way to showcase him. I have much more God of War videos coming in the future, so I hope you’re able to stick around and subscribe. And thank you for liking, watching, and commenting on the video, I appreciate that : )

    Is this a conversation? Tyr stopped a serious Kratos punch about 4-5 different times to end their serious sparring match and im pretty sure Kratos wasn't holding back so for Tyr to be able to stop his punch without any effort shows how much he’ll make Freya into his next souvenir

    • @dylanhopkins5934
      @dylanhopkins5934 3 месяца назад +1

      Thats no where near impressive though. Kratos wasn't going all out considering it was a spar, and Kratos has had his punch stopped by Baldur and Thor before. Its not impressive to stop someone's fist.

    great video, i just have one thing to say about what you did wrong: Kratos was still holding back in ragnarok, not as strong as in 2018 but still holding back by a lot. This is proven by multiple statements where odin and zeus are said to be mostly equal to each other and kratos is said to be stronger then ever so he is holding back (keep in mind, this is all said by either the writer or any other notible worker from god of war 2018/ragnarok/valhalla) so freya isnt completly equal to kratos and he could have beaten both odin and gna alone with some difficulty. we also do know that it took thor and some other asir to even face tyr in a fight at his temple so id scale him a little above freya

      Feats > Statements when Statements contradict feats. As a powerscaler you should know this golden rule. The feats Kratos preforms in this game is > the writers word of him holding back, and on the PlayStation blog site it states that Kratos during Ragnarok will have his skills tested which if this is the case he’d need to be going all out. So in this instance the writers word and my word align

      I think in the game someone mentions it took Odin and a small army to actually capture Tyr. As for how he held him, Odin could make enchantments so strong that apparently not even Thor could have freed Mimir if he tried.

      You literally just made up a completely fake scenario to say that Thor wasn't going all out. He was clearly going all out and he was no where near drunk in that fight. Kratos wasn't really going all out though. He didn't use his spartan rage once in either of the fights.
