Schneider Charge has been successfully designed in France by Schneider Electric for fast, easy and robust indoor or outdoor installations and wiring:
• Bottom, top and rear wiring access allowing for flexible installation in all type of walls (wood, concrete, and more!).
• Metal mounting backplate with slotted holes for a quick and robust installation.
• Wall spacer to ease installations in uneven walls.
• Compatible with electrical cables up to 10 mm2 cross section.
• Fast connector for a faster and durable power cabling*.
• Captive screws to avoid losing screws.
• Built in RCD-DD to stop the charge when the 6mA DC earth leakage limit is exceeded.
• Ready for VAT voltage and continuity test. Schneider Charge exists in 7.4 kW, 11 kW and 22 kW with 5m & 7m cable length or T2S depending on the reference.
This eco-smart and open EV charging station can be operated by Wiser App for whole home automation and energy management or by the mobile app of your preference via OCPP standard to make the most out of your EV charging experience.
This video provides step by step instructions on how to install Schneider Charge, our electric vehicle charger for homes, using the back wiring access.
*Installation and wiring time does not include connection to the electrical network and depends on the type of cable used to connect the charger.
