@@christineburton2540 Ohio is solid red, its not considered a swing state anymore. However his connection to the midwest states does help Trump there, so thats part of the reason he was chosen.

I hope JD knows how High his stakes are with this nomination and he has a LOT of proving to do! If he hasn’t read the reaction, he only has about 25% support from MAGA base.
