    Best advise would be don't focus on trying to learn songs but to just train your left and right hands with daily exercises. 30 days of doing the spider walk will boost you to intermediate guitarist. Faster than someone who's trying to practice by chords. Start working on your pinky using spider walk. I see a lot of guitarist who have been playing for years still neglects their pinky. Ability to play with all fingers is crucial for speed and note accuracy. A good analogy i can give is if you thinkg about those competitive first person shooter players, they practice specifically on their aim and hand movements, they didn't get better just by playing a shooting game.

    for the "I See Fire" by Ed Sheeran song, start with your ring finger on the A string, 3rd fret. Your index finger should be on 2nd fret on the G string.
    Hammer on and pull off with the pinky on that G string.
    Pluck the open D string with your thumb, and hammer on that open note with your index finger.
    Next, pluck the open G string with your thumb.
    Finally, complete the c-chord with the middle and index finger on B and D strings respectively.
    Since your fretting hand never leaves the fretboard, you'll be able to play this melody faster, and you'll have less anxiety about where your hands should go.
    hope this helps!

    To me, learning and playing guitar is not just playing exactly like others. It is an art, self express creativity is very important to me. Of course, knowing the basic chords is essential. I play mostly hymn songs. I like to create my own chords that sound best to my ears. It is more fun and easier to follow my created chords than just blindly following others. I do not read music, I rely on my ears to connect to music. Hope it will help you a bit in your journey of guitar playing. Enjoy what you are learning is more important than anything else, cheers!

    I’m glad you titled your video as: self learning, instead of self, taught, like how a lot of people title their videos.
    Nobody is self-taught, they either learn from a teacher or RUclips, or some other programs.

    That e-accustic guitar is so cool! I bought a Casio DG20 3 decades ago but to it I'm also still a beginner. 😅😅
    Just got my first electric guitar yesterday and hope that after 6 months I can call myself a regular. 😄😄

    I bought this guitar, but I am worrying that how long this battery last, when it is no longer chargeable, how hard to change it.

    • @couscousdude2991
      @couscousdude2991 Год назад +1

      The website says up to 5 hours at maximum volume. The battery is lithium ion rechargeable so after 2 years or so it will become degraded to around 80% of original capacity and after 5+ years it will definitely become very inconvenient (which is not good as a regular guitar at this price should last you 4+ years with decent maintenance, easily 10 years with proper care). Also, this company is relatively unknown even if you could order replacement parts, who knows if they will be around making them in a few years. Your best bet is to hope that the battery is accessible with some sort of standard connector you can buy a replacement battery for and plug in.
