To fix the E string u first have to takeout the string (by loosing its tuning peg and taking it out from the back) then put the bridge saddle(that contorted rectangular thing) back in place and adjust the height of the string with a small tool shaped as an L, that often comes with the guitar kit, by inserting it inside the two holes of the saddle. @@matthewearl9824 its really not that hard to turn a basic peg with a allen key that will raise the saddle or lower it, one of the screws was backed out causing it to be like that, not learning how to setup your own instrument as a musician is just not a good idea. also not hating on her for not knowing how to do this and it could just be a really cheap stripped screw which would just be a quality issue on those cheap starter kits.
As a guitar player myself, putting stickers on a guitar is the most painful thing you can do and painting the picks when playing will just corrode the strings even faster but being honest it is awesome to see other people showing interest in the guitar
@@daughterofvermillionhouse it can ruin the finish over time and can damage the wood underneath depending on the adhesive used but If you like it I’m bot judging 😁
hey !! guitar player here. youre gonana have to cut your nails way shorter than that so you can get the right positioning and this becomes essential in the future to do more complicated things. I also recommend yt way more than any app tbh. idk if you like cigarette daydreams but i looked it up and it was the first song i learnt. you should also try doing scales like the pentatonic and practice slides, vibratos etc. i wish you luck on your journey, the beginning can be really hard and frustrating but its really worth it !!
true, being a musician i learned quickly that I can not have long nails lol😅 once they got a bit longer than usual and it was torture to play with, and i cut them short again right away
just some tips!! - you’re not supposed to be pressing that hard that your fingers have groove - when you’re strumming, move your wrist, not your arm. just be more fluid. - for fretting try to have some fingers down, for example if you’re playing “2” on E keep that finger down, if you’re then playing “3” on E and then “2” you already have the “2” finger down so it’s less energy and moving around - id also recommend the spider walk to improve accuracy and speed! lmk if that doesn’t make sense
still wating for new ep for this... I have been a guitarist for 8 years, so I find it kinda fun to watch beginners learn where they need to go and have fun tho
personally, i think that using fender play is a really great app to use for learning how to play the guitar! it helps you with rhythm, chords, and sm more :) also, a great way to remember the string letters is ‘easter bunnies get dizzy at easter’ EBGDAE (from high e going up to low e) i hope this helps, although you posted this 6 months ago lolol :D
Hey! How’s the journey? Vlogging is such a cool way to look back and see how far you’ve come since you first started out. I know you don’t want your nails shorts, but it’s essential to have short nails on the fretting hand so you can position your finger the correct way and won’t injured your hand (and better reach overall). Btw it’s my first time discover you channel and you’re so pretty.
my girl absolutely bought it for the aesthetic and thought she would be able to play brazil in under ten minutes 😭 edit: anyone whos thinking about playing an instrument should research it first, just to see if its worth the money and actually something that they want to learn how to do. you shouldn’t just buy a guitar because you _think_ youre gonna like it and be dedicated to it. always research. and i know shes a beginner and i was one too, but theres so many videos and websites out there that anyone can use to learn more about guitars how to play them. long story short: PLEASE RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING AN INSTRUMENT ‼️

why’d u buy the guitar if u we’re gonna quit after like what 3 days? Those are damn expensive😭😭 Also did it trigger anyone else when she put nail polish on the pick JUST bc it was a different color😞
yesss omg! If she was really interested in playing the guitar then she would first practice without gaf about putting stickers on the guitar yet PAINT THE PICK lmaooo!
@@bubblysivan_Official In my opinion, stickers completely ruin the aesthetics of the guitar, imagine that later these stickers get dirty and lose their colors
coloring a pick with nail polish is NOT optimal as it might wear away in a few months... you can try buying a new pack of picks! there are a lot of fun options :D stickers is great but it is much painful to take them down later than to put them up ... trust I speak from experience :| left hand nails should be shorter tbh like down to the flesh spoiler: it is proven to be easier to have short nails on your left hand. You would to need to do weird gestures or press as hard and you will DEFINITELY not dig grooves into your fretboard... which would be a huge L if you had a more expensive guitar... welp if you get cuts or blisters within week 1-3 it is totally normal you will grow new skin and just stick with it it is like working out but like guitar takes a lot of dedication to move forward so... bye long nails? for 11:11 loosen that string; take the allen wrench it gave you and adjust it to the right level. trust it would work though if you are not sure try a few different ones and see which one should fit. but remember to loosen the string first! for your final playing demo you should not be muting your strings too soon. it would sound a lot more fuller if you let it ring out like 0.5 seconds more :) everyone start off somewhere imean I didn't get any progress in the first 2 years or so and I truly hope my advices and constructive criticism helped you :D but anyways you are off to a great start! even though it was kinda shtty but it was MUCH better than having a busted d tuner or having to switch 3 guitars. I believe you will be a great musician if you keep going! p.s. I am also a highschool student :)))))))))))))))))))
10:00 when i started playing guitar my fingers were like that, i thought it was bad but really, it wasn’t. when you get into learning the higher stages of your guitar your fingertips should go rock hard, it’s a sign you have got the “guitar-tips” that’s what i call it, anyways lol! i know this was ages ago but i hope you have improved from here, wishing you luck fellow guitarist!!
I know that you probably abandoned that guitar, but as a tip for others beginners who are watching: NAILS SHOULD BE WAY WAY WAYY SHORTER. And on the right hand especially, because you need to press the string with a tip of finger, really close to the nail. Your fingers shouldn't be flat when you're pressing the strings, they should like stand (sorrt for poor explanation)
Hellooo! If you are new to playing electric guitar, try getting some chords and pentatonic scales in with your learning! (trust me, they really help..and yes, your fingers can sometimes get purple-ish and you'll get corns on your fingers time to time with practice, annoying smh) Good luck on your journey!
a suggestion i have is to let the strings ring for a little more. instead of immediately going to the next string. and while i do recommend simply guitar, their tutorials are very helpful, i also recommend you learn how to read guitar tabs because you will be able to learn a lot more songs and get the basis of playing a guitar. it’s like simply guitar but instead of animated it’s typed out
For all those who are literally first time, I hate to break it, but your first priority is cutting your nails short on your fretting hand, AND! building callus on it, and that will take weeks (if it's your first time).
Just a tip for the future, but buying new gear is not always the best option, at the end of the day it all comes from your fingers and better gear wont make you play better 99% of the time. It is hard to realize this as a beginner but its a marathon not a sprint! Of course you want something you like and having a couple guitars is not an issue but its very easy to get lost in buying new gear all the time. But its also awesome seeing people learn, it is not easy, so hopefully you continue on your journey.
Definitely wouldn’t recommend painting you picks with whatever because as you are playing the paint will chip and fall right onto your single coil pickups and not only will this effect your tone but also if a small chipped piece of paint falls into your pickup and melts that definitely wouldn’t be good.
A lot of people are hating on her for putting stickers on her guitar, but she bought it with her money. She can do whatever she wants with it as long as she’s actually using it and she is.let her live!

There are 2 things i would recommend u to do. 1 ur guitar has some set up problems which makes ur guitar is not as easy to play (don't worry, it happens a lot in cheaper range but it can be fixed) take the guitar to the guitar shop ask them if they can set up ur guitar which usually include some money (u can do it urself but it's not easy at all) 2 ur left hand nails are too long (i know that they should be looking good) but it's not gonna be as easy as short nails. Hope it helps! Good luck!
It’s great that she was inspired by bea and wanted to start playing as well! But if you want to become good you gotta practice, and I learned that the hard way because like her, (I assume) I got a guitar to feel cool and learn something new but realized how hard it was and that I needed to seriously practice so I gave up easily. 1 school year later and I began to take real classes and want to improve. In short, never give up if you truly love something!!!
Hey, no worries regarding your fingers. It's normal to shred the finger tips when you start out. Have been playing since 2006 and had a lot of bleeding fingers and strings throughout the first 4 years 🙈
Go and have your guitar setup. Can be done by a friend who knows how to set up a guitar or from a guitar shop. Besides the E string bridge issue, there are other things like high/low action which might need to be fixed which is done during the setup process. Some work might need to be done to the guitar's nut to stay in tune which almost all guitars have this issue unless it is a high end custom handmade ones like the Fender custom, Suhr guitars, etc. After doing those setups, you can fully focus on the learning the guitar. Additional tips if you are interested: 1. Use a guitar pick and practice alternate picking, etc. It's better to pick this habit now than later. 2. Get a cheap and better guitar amp like the Yamaha THR5A. Those amps comes as a free bundle with the guitar usually doesn't sound good. You can check out amps sound comparison of a good amp and a budget to see the huge difference.
i learned how to play guitar through playing a song and looking through its chords and what the fingers position in on ultimate guitar (yup, i memorized eadgbe). i do play bass too, but i only read tabs for now (i have covers on my channel), i'm doing the same thing i did on guitar, so i can memorized the chords too. i'm still learning, but by that, i can play any song with just looking by its chords.
I hope you did'nt stop learning bcs the beginning is the hardest when you start to really play songs it starts to get really fun and motivates you i would recomend justinguitaer for lessons instea of simply guitar cause it doesn't teach you how to play guitar it just teaces you the muscle memory but please don't stop playing
I remember the first time I had to cut my really long nails which almost brought me to tears. I tried to keep my nails as long as I could but some things must be sacrificed. And now I have absolutely no nails cus the key to sounding better is holding the chords right and short nails help a lot.
and yes its normal for the beginning that you finger gets little cuts but your fingers skin is getting harder thats making it much easier to play with out the hurt
the more you practice at the beginning, the most you have to know to grow up in the guitar, its funny and some times you gonna be frustrated, almost with those chords like F, just prepare your mind to punch those walls down 🌻🌻
hey! its super cool you're interested in learning the guitar. i made two BIG mistakes when i was a beginner too and i'd love to give you some advices so you can learn from MY mistakes
@@boba_bri Agree 100%, try and get a teacher if at all possible. You'll make progress so much faster and especially when you have no other musical experience it's really hard to know what to learn because you don't really have an understanding of music yet. Without someone to guide you it's easy to burn out and be frustrated. I found a teacher who gives me lessons 2x a month instead of 4x (like most teachers) which made it a lot more affordable for me. And it's enough to guide me on my learning journey and keep me accountable when it comes to practising so maybe that's an option for you as well. :) Love your guitar btw it's so cute. I've been playing accoustic for over a year now but I'm going to buy an electric this week and I'm so excited!
@@shinkshonkers3787 no you don't. Of course it would be very good but it's not essential. I believe that if you can't afford a teacher or you just don't want to, you should look for a good online guitar course instead
I have the same exact guitar and company that made it. Mine is black and white and the amp box isn't that great honestly. I highly recommend also getting guitar wax/polish and get a collection of a couple strings for replacements. As someone who's played the electric guitar for 2 years you WILL NEED THIS STUFF!! Also with changing strings and cleaning your guitar I HIGHLY AND STRONGLY reccomend watching tutorials on how to change your strings. Especially if the string snaps by tuning it. It hurts like a mf when they break on you while tuning. Happy guitaring!!! ❤❤🎸
Tip: I’m a self taught guitar player and I didn’t use things like the weird simply guitar apps or whatever. If you’re broke like me I suggest watching people’s beginner lessons off of RUclips. One person I recommend is Marty music.
its good you cut your nails early on. Ive been playing guitar for a few years and trimming your left hand (hand you use on the frets) the nails can hit the other strings which you dont want. you can keep them long on the other hand however as its useful for finger picking!

step one buy a real guitar not a scam model made by people who don't care.
As a guitar player myself, putting stickers on a guitar is the most painful thing you can do and painting the picks when playing will just corrode the strings even faster but being honest it is awesome to see other people showing interest in the guitar

hey !! guitar player here. youre gonana have to cut your nails way shorter than that so you can get the right positioning and this becomes essential in the future to do more complicated things.
Cigarette Daydreams was my first song too haha
I’m a bassist! I also recommend Yousician.
true, being a musician i learned quickly that I can not have long nails lol😅 once they got a bit longer than usual and it was torture to play with, and i cut them short again right away
just some tips!!
- you’re not supposed to be pressing that hard that your fingers have groove
- when you’re strumming, move your wrist, not your arm. just be more fluid.
- for fretting try to have some fingers down, for example if you’re playing “2” on E keep that finger down, if you’re then playing “3” on E and then “2” you already have the “2” finger down so it’s less energy and moving around
- id also recommend the spider walk to improve accuracy and speed!
lmk if that doesn’t make sense
i think she quit, but these are good tips
still wating for new ep for this...
BRIANNAAAA I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A NEW EPISODE FOR SOO LONGGG TT
Yeahhh
Hey! How’s the journey? Vlogging is such a cool way to look back and see how far you’ve come since you first started out.
I know you don’t want your nails shorts, but it’s essential to have short nails on the fretting hand so you can position your finger the correct way and won’t injured your hand (and better reach overall).
Btw it’s my first time discover you channel and you’re so pretty.
my girl absolutely bought it for the aesthetic and thought she would be able to play brazil in under ten minutes 😭
edit: anyone whos thinking about playing an instrument should research it first, just to see if its worth the money and actually something that they want to learn how to do. you shouldn’t just buy a guitar because you _think_ youre gonna like it and be dedicated to it. always research. and i know shes a beginner and i was one too, but theres so many videos and websites out there that anyone can use to learn more about guitars how to play them.
long story short: PLEASE RESEARCH BEFORE BUYING AN INSTRUMENT ‼️

@@bubblysivan_Official In my opinion, stickers completely ruin the aesthetics of the guitar, imagine that later these stickers get dirty and lose their colors
coloring a pick with nail polish is NOT optimal as it might wear away in a few months... you can try buying a new pack of picks! there are a lot of fun options :D
stickers is great but it is much painful to take them down later than to put them up ... trust I speak from experience :|
left hand nails should be shorter tbh like down to the flesh
spoiler: it is proven to be easier to have short nails on your left hand. You would to need to do weird gestures or press as hard and you will DEFINITELY not dig grooves into your fretboard... which would be a huge L if you had a more expensive guitar...
welp if you get cuts or blisters within week 1-3 it is totally normal you will grow new skin and just stick with it
it is like working out but like guitar takes a lot of dedication to move forward so... bye long nails?
for 11:11 loosen that string; take the allen wrench it gave you and adjust it to the right level. trust it would work though
if you are not sure try a few different ones and see which one should fit. but remember to loosen the string first!
for your final playing demo you should not be muting your strings too soon. it would sound a lot more fuller if you let it ring out like 0.5 seconds more :)
everyone start off somewhere imean I didn't get any progress in the first 2 years or so and I truly hope my advices and constructive criticism helped you :D
but anyways you are off to a great start! even though it was kinda shtty but it was MUCH better than having a busted d tuner or having to switch 3 guitars.
2:22 dang the white is so beautiful and the dark parts are perfect
I know that you probably abandoned that guitar, but as a tip for others beginners who are watching: NAILS SHOULD BE WAY WAY WAYY SHORTER. And on the right hand especially, because you need to press the string with a tip of finger, really close to the nail. Your fingers shouldn't be flat when you're pressing the strings, they should like stand (sorrt for poor explanation)
Hellooo! If you are new to playing electric guitar, try getting some chords and pentatonic scales in with your learning! (trust me, they really help..and yes, your fingers can sometimes get purple-ish and you'll get corns on your fingers time to time with practice, annoying smh) Good luck on your journey!

a suggestion i have is to let the strings ring for a little more. instead of immediately going to the next string. and while i do recommend simply guitar, their tutorials are very helpful, i also recommend you learn how to read guitar tabs because you will be able to learn a lot more songs and get the basis of playing a guitar. it’s like simply guitar but instead of animated it’s typed out
Just a tip if you're trying to fix anything in your guitar, if it involves the strings, loosen the strings first - for safety reasons just in case.

For all those who are literally first time, I hate to break it, but your first priority is cutting your nails short on your fretting hand, AND! building callus on it, and that will take weeks (if it's your first time).
My calluses built in like 2 days😭
@@kuldipsingh-sk4zi yea the first layer lol you need to build it up many times til it gets comftable to press the strings.
Espero que logres tu meta, de verdad, se nota la paciencia y el tiempo que le pones

u just motivated me to clean my room and study. thank you.
There are 2 things i would recommend u to do. 1 ur guitar has some set up problems which makes ur guitar is not as easy to play (don't worry, it happens a lot in cheaper range but it can be fixed) take the guitar to the guitar shop ask them if they can set up ur guitar which usually include some money (u can do it urself but it's not easy at all)
2 ur left hand nails are too long (i know that they should be looking good) but it's not gonna be as easy as short nails.

Girl, I remember when I had my first calluses after playing guitar they hurt like hell but you get used to it
This was impressive to watch. Did you continue this quest further? Would love to have an update.
Additional tips if you are interested:
1. Use a guitar pick and practice alternate picking, etc. It's better to pick this habit now than later.
2. Get a cheap and better guitar amp like the Yamaha THR5A. Those amps comes as a free bundle with the guitar usually doesn't sound good. You can check out amps sound comparison of a good amp and a budget to see the huge difference.
i learned how to play guitar through playing a song and looking through its chords and what the fingers position in on ultimate guitar (yup, i memorized eadgbe). i do play bass too, but i only read tabs for now (i have covers on my channel), i'm doing the same thing i did on guitar, so i can memorized the chords too. i'm still learning, but by that, i can play any song with just looking by its chords.
whyyyyy on earth would you paint the picks, it’s gonna chip off immediately

I remember the first time I had to cut my really long nails which almost brought me to tears. I tried to keep my nails as long as I could but some things must be sacrificed. And now I have absolutely no nails cus the key to sounding better is holding the chords right and short nails help a lot.
