William Percival's Waltzer Loughborough Fair 2023

Rarely nowadays do you see a machine riding at such a high capacity and operating in such an exciting atmospheric manor . Using all 3 entrance /exits the staff ushered riders on and off the machine between ride cycles with such speed it was literally a blur . It might have looked like chaos but it was highly efficient and the crowds of people created a genuine energetic buzz inside the ride . I stood on the boards for 30 minutes and the constant flow of riders showed no sign of easing up . It's great to see a machine doing business like this . With only around 30 seconds between rides i take my hat off to the staff for maintaining such a frantic exhilarating pace . I travelled with funfairs for nearly 20 seasons and worked with real gaff lads. These are no more gaff lads, then theme park workers. with those stupid IVs jackets, what the hell do they need them for they’re in the wrong job, they should be with the circus clowns

@@ryanmalam888 Health and safety gone too far as I said been in the business for over 20 years, we never needed anything like that and we still don’t. totally over the top. Our season starts Easter time and the first gaff that I pull into if the council said to me we have to wear that type of gear then I would refuse The site, sod Health and safety gone too far, in my humble opinion and thousands more. nothing personal to you that is.
