    The attention to detail is stunning, & i would have loved to have seen this ride in motion!

    this has to be the best one in the country if not the world! the detail and workmanship is superb, it is asthough someone has shrunk a real machine! a big well done to greg for acheiving a breathtaking model!
    cant wait to see it in then flesh!

    certainly the best model waltzer i have seen' but everyone elses model waltzers are also great. well done to all of you.will be showing my waltzer with any luck soon.

    Hi Pete,
    The Motor/Gearbox used on the 1/16th scale versions is the MFA-919D , a different one is used on the 1/24th scale Models.
    MFA (Model Flight Accessories) being the manufacturers name, these are available at most R/C Model Shops also some Maplins Electronics Shops.

    very nice model .
    i am planing on making one myself in time .
    at the mo i like riding the real thing i am 15yrs and been walking them for a few years now . please thake look at my vids on here .

    do u guys use stepper motors to run the deck . with one gear i think control would be smother and more torq.just thought id ask.

    Search for 'Doug Roseaman Engineering' on the net for Ride Plans, you have to make the parts yourself.
    'K R Designs' can supply kits but 1/24th scale.

    the full size waltzer takes about 8 to 12 hours to build up

    hi can anyone tell me if the mfa 919 d motor is powerful enough topull a 8 car waltzer round asit is quite big platform diameter is25 inches edge to edge thanks and would be using 12 volt transformer with speed control

    can i carry the trams that the girders ride on
    do you want a lift with the gratings at least
    no hiab for platforms and you do not even get wet on build up and pull down
