I went to Loughborough uni and try to go back to Loughborough every year if I can (especially to the fair). I can't make it back this year so this is great to see!
I went on that grand national ride at Blackpool, I nearly shat meself, nobody said there was a massive drop below & when you went round a bend on the track, you nearly fell out.... never again 🤣
Have you been to the Goose Fair?? When I lived in Hinckley, me and the ex used to go to Loughborough and The Goose fairs. Mad thing, was all the minted peas on sale!!!! I'd never had minted peas before that!! Fabulous!!!! And not to mention hog roasts everywhere!!!!
Thanks for posting this video, I was born in loughborough in the mid 70d then moved to the United States in early 2000s, I miss the town and the fair. Some of the rides like the dodgems I remember, I even remember boots store.
