Can you please explain in a future video if possible a rumor that has been going around on pc gaming where Xbox one players and pc players can play on the same servers against one another.
I own both of the systems, they're both great. I like ps4 more because of the exclusive games on it and I like more of the features and the interface it has. Xbox one is great too, it has halo, gears of war and other exclusives, but I don't play them although I love sunset overdrive and dead rising 3. I'm a bigger fan of playstation exclusives but if you like xbox exclusives stick with xbox one. If you want to play ps4 exclusives like uncharted 4, last of us, and other exclusives get a ps4.
Patrick, I just sold my xbone to get a ps4. I would HIGHLEY recommend doing it. Partly because I love all of the ps exclusives more then the Xbox ones.

Kevin Kenson store for which I used to work has been given some hints from MS that new One might be ready for Windows 10 launch, however itself will appear somewhere around september/october. Fingers crossed ;)

Pretty much the only reason I picked up the X1 over the PS4 is the games. However, I'm leaning towards getting a PS4, just so I can have the superior graphics for Star Wars Battlefront. After that, I'm hoping, PS4 will have more games to my liking.
I really like my xBox one, especially with the updates coming up: backwards comp, windows 10 with cortana, KEYBOARD AND MOUSE compatibility (that's really a big deal for me, halo ce is just so much better with a mouse), game streaming to pc, snaping features, skype, family sharing, MODS for fallout. Guys MODS on a console ! That's so cool ! Also I love the interface and a better one is coming. TV tuner, hdmi in. For me it's the winner but depending on what you want to do with your console and witch console you already own (ps3, 360 or both) your choice might be different and it's fine ! I'm really happy about my choice, I don't think there is a major difference performance wise. But I have a few complains ! -No removable HDD. Big deal, I want an ssd. -No jtag yet, it means no homebrew (my 360 was never jtaged but I'd like to do more with my xbone and since it uses a x86 architecture and a windows os there is A LOT of possibilities. ) -Game DVR limited to 5 minutes ? I mean comon wtf am I supposed to do with 5 minutes ?
As he stated, and i've been saying it all along. Tons of Xbox fans are still playing the 360 waiting for Halo and some other titles. The thing is 360 is still a great console, and we don't feel the need to upgrade yet. Whereas the PS3 was lacking a lot of features that were introduced with the PS4 so those people upgraded right away.When it's all said and done I feel Xbox will have nearly the same sales as PS3 in america at least
HiTechAddict i doubt many console gamers are thinking this way. Many console gamers dont care about resolution, fps and co. If they would, they would buy a pc. Ps4 just did a great job on marketing and microsoft failed hard (force kinect, drm, always on, more expensive). Highly doubt the differences in power had any big impact on sales. Keep in mind wii won last generation and had weakest hardware. Ps2 won gen 6 and had weakest hardware.
Great video man, I personally own a PS4 and have been loving it ever since I first started to play, I made the switch from Xbox 360 to PS4, I have really enjoyed gaming on my PS4 and can't wait for the exclusives that are to come, that being said I'm also a casual gamer and I play Call of Duty, on Xbox 360 I had a whole lot of friends on there who I'd play Call of Duty with as well as Halo at almost a daily basis, and only have a few friends on PS4 but we all have different schedules so playing with them is at a minimum...I've also noticed that not many people use mics on PS4 I feel thats because of the cheap ear piece of the PS4 and because people who play COD will typically buy a Xbox One amd with the announcement of Black Ops 3 I feel pumped for this next COD because the last two have not been great at all, so I'm going to buy a Xbox One around September/October hopefully the price will drop a bit more I'm planning on buying it because I still have alot of friends on there the ones I would normally play most of the time I'll also only buy it for Halo and Call of Duty preference on the Xbox One...

PC + Wii U = best of both worlds I don't own a Wii U, but recently got my first 3DS (the new one) and now I see why people say Nintendo games are so great. They really are. For biggest library + best graphics, PC does the job.

You would've been right a year ago but as time goes by more and more awesome exclusives are finding their way to it, which given recent Nintendo history is a pretty big trend, hell the 3ds wasn't doing so hot either until the middle of 2013 when everything finally started coming out.
True, but easier for me, I suppose. My main reason for getting a Wii U would've been Smash Bros. and Mario Kart, but the 3DS has those games already. Yes, Mario Kart 7 is older, but it's still fun and enjoyable for me. So I guess it just depends on preference.

Being someone who owned the Xbox One for several month and switching to the PS4 I can easily say that the PS4 wins in the aspect of graphics, controller and much easier to use. Xbox One wins in the aspect of exclusive releases but if were all being honest its a failed console too complicated and switching over from Xbox 360 the better of the last gen consoles It's really not topping it in anyway apart from the graphics. The PS4 has won the next gen battle not only in sales numbers but just a better to use gaming console.

I'm so stuck! I'm getting one for my birthday and here's my problems. I love Playstation I've been with it since the beginning. Also, from what I've seen on RUclips everybody likes it. Also I'm a huge guy about graphics and I really want MLB the Show 15. But, on the Xbox One side all my friends have one and it would be fun to play with them.
I bought an xbox one a few weeks ago after extensively trying it out and also trying the PS4. In my opinion, the xbox is just slightly better overall. I love the UI and if you get the kinect, it just makes it that much more intuitive. The graphics are phenomenal, I've never actually noticed a difference in favor of PS4.
Reasons I personally got the halo 5 edition xbox one. 1. I had a paycheck 2. Sweet controller 3. Had gotten 3 years of xbox live from an event 4. Halo 5

Very well put. Being that I've owned the PS4, Xbox One, and built multiple gaming PC's, I can say that one thing consoles have going for them is they are very convenient. Building/upgrading a PC is quite difficult for most people which is why consoles are so popular. Kayla Erickson If you can afford $500 for a console, you can afford $500 for a PC. Just find the parts (quite easy to look up tutorials and shit) and build it yourself. The PC will run all games and 30/60 fps, depending on the game, just like a console. And games are cheaper on PC AND you get the rediculous steam sales (got Witcher 1 and 2 for $5, the whole Bioshock series for $10, Far Cry 1, 2, 3 and Blood Dragon for $10 etc.). Sure, games on consoles are more likely to work than on PC (like with the recent Arkham Knight shit), but all that means is that you need patience to wait until the game's issues are fixed, which most PC gamers do now days anyway. There is also guaranteed backwards compatability, choice of controlls (allows to customise the key bindings, what your using to control the game like an XBOX controller, keyboard and mouse etc.), more exclusives (bigger indie scene, more exclusives like MOBAs, MMOs etc.), bigger competetive scene, free online, play on ether your couch or desk (which you can do on console as well, I just had to clarify that because people like to say that on console, you can play on your couch like if PC can't do that), allowing you to upgrade your hardware, modding community (sure, you can mod on consoles, but it is illigal, and even so, it doesn't allow you to play online with those mods anyway, like games like TF2, CSGO, Gmod etc.) and so much more. There is no reason to say that consoles are better than PC, because it is a straight up fact that PC is better than consoles. But that doesn't mean you're not allowed to prefer consoles, because it does take a bit of effort to build your PC, and maybe all your friends are on consoles, and your favorite exclusives might be on consoles. I completely respect people that prefer consoles because of personal reasons, like I prefer my 3DS over a next-gen console, even if it is worse by comparison in most aspects, but if people say that consoles are outright better! Also, you do not need to upgrade you PC constately, even at that price. People constately upgrade and say you need to upgrade because they want the highest graphics, with the highest framerate. Legit, I have been using the graphics card that the article suggest with a bit higher specs, and can run Witcher 3 at Ultra with a few tweaks to the settings at 40/60 fps, still better than a console. Now imagine just using slightly worse specs and you would get Witcher 3 at high/medium at 30 fps, which is the standards for consoles. When you say that you can't be a pro gamer with a crappy PC, you actually can. Most competetive games (that actually have a competetive scene) do not require a beast PC to run the game. Look at CSGO, 2nd most played game on steam, and yet lots of people run the game quite fine. Same as DOTA 2 and LoL, both really competetive, but a PC with the right parts, costing 500 will still be able to run the game at a smooth framerate. Also, when you said that nest gen consts less than 500: NextGen - $400 + ($90 for 1 year of online x the lifespan of a console about 6 years) $540 = $940 depending on when you first purchased the console. (also, I am not including how much games cost compared to the steam sales on PC) PC - $500 (if you were to purchase this PC that I suggest, it isn't as bad as you think, trust me.) + $150 for good quality gaming keyboard and mouse + $0 fees for online = $650 I went on a website that told me how much I spent on steam, and I much my account actually is worth. currently only have a PC but I've had a PS4 and a Wii u for a year and I will be getting a XBO soon so here are my thoughts on the Wii u and ps4. Wii U: Perfect console if you already own a gaming PC or XBO but by itself it just doesn't have enough games and the games that it does have are not technologically good enough to impress you. PS4: Good console, but it just feels like a worse version of a PC. Games look nice enough and generally run fine, however high online store prices and lackluster PS+ games mean that the Xbox one seems like a better choice for those that don't care if games run worse and just want to play the exclusives. IMO: If you have a lot of money either get project Scorpio/Neo or get a PS4. But if you are on a tight budget, for the same price you can get an Xbox one, 3 months of gold and a few decent preowned games.

Xbox also has Tomb Raider exclusive. But I think right now the best game on all the next gen consoles is The Last of Us Remastered. I don't think this game gets enough credit. I know it is getting old, but the multiplayer is still so fun, and nothing beats the story mode. Really looking forward to Uncharted and the Division next year. Hopefully unisof to doesn't screw the division up though.
lil mOO Originally, yes. Xbox was going to have it as a timed exclusive. But, now Microsoft is going to publish the game itself. That's as of right now. Will it forever only be on Xbox One? That depends on Square Enix because they technically still own the IP of Tomb Raider and can decide what they do with it. Crytek did the same thing for Ryse (originally Xbox exclusive), but later released on PC. So, it depends on how good it actually sells for the Xbox and if Square Enix wants to release it on PS4 or PC later in the future.
I HAVE A QUESTION: So... for both PS4 and XBONE need a monthly subscrption to play online. But these services or offset are offering free games like Dont Starve and Rayman Legends Shovel Knight. Do these free games get attached to your account so you can play them when ever you want, or you only can play them in the month they were initially offered? I just ordered a Xbox one :) I had a bit hard time choosing between ps4 and xbox, But what made me choose xbox over ps4 is that there is better exlusive games to it :) for me atleast. So I'm very excited for it =) And no offence to the ps4 people. Its awesome too.

PS+ membership gives you games, across ALL it's platforms. I've been getting triple A games on PS3 for a few years now for free. I don't own a Vita, but you also get Vita games for free monthly. Nothing beats the value of PSN's free games, so value-wise it doesn't really balance out, PS+ is $10 cheaper, and gives you more games, including a lot of triple A games on PS3. Cant' really argue with that.
It’s same price and Xbox gold gives you Xbox 360 and OG Xbox games on your actual Xbox one and Xbox 360, so in reality the value is the same, and can really be argued, and both have triple A game as well. They are around same value and not really a selling point on why one of the consoles are better.

If you want a good story game, get uncharted 2 for the PS3, not uncharted 4. Halo 5 is 100 times better than uncharted 4. Xbox also has Forza and gears of war.

When I was tripping on some hallucinogens, I saw a distorted figure that slowly manifested itself to the XB1 logo. Pretty much the only reason I picked up the X1 over the PS4 is the games. However, I'm leaning towards getting a PS4, just so I can have the superior graphics for Star Wars Battlefront. After that, I'm hoping, PS4 will have more games to my liking.

I really like my xBox one, especially with the updates coming up: backwards comp, windows 10 with cortana, KEYBOARD AND MOUSE compatibility (that's really a big deal for me, halo ce is just so much better with a mouse), game streaming to pc, snaping features, skype, family sharing, MODS for fallout.

The thing is 360 is still a great console, and we don't feel the need to upgrade yet. Whereas the PS3 was lacking a lot of features that were introduced with the PS4 so those people upgraded right away.When it's all said and done I feel Xbox will have nearly the same sales as PS3 in america at least

Ps4 just did a great job on marketing and microsoft failed hard (force kinect, drm, always on, more expensive).
Highly doubt the differences in power had any big impact on sales. Keep in mind wii won last generation and had weakest hardware. Ps2 won gen 6 and had weakest hardware.

Great video man, I personally own a PS4 and have been loving it ever since I first started to play, I made the switch from Xbox 360 to PS4, I have really enjoyed gaming on my PS4 and can't wait for the exclusives that are to come, that being said I'm also a casual gamer and I play Call of Duty, on Xbox 360 I had a whole lot of friends on there who I'd play Call of Duty with as well as Halo at almost a daily basis, and only have a few friends on PS4 but we all have different schedules so playing with them is at a minimum...I've also noticed that not many people use mics on PS4 I feel thats because of the cheap ear piece of the PS4 and because people who play COD will typically buy a Xbox One amd with the announcement of Black Ops 3 I feel pumped for this next COD because the last two have not been great at all, so I'm going to buy a Xbox One around September/October hopefully the price will drop a bit more I'm planning on buying it because I still have alot of friends on there the ones I would normally play most of the time I'll also only buy it for Halo and Call of Duty preference on the Xbox One...

I can understand with the consoles, and for me, if I was a console guy, I would choose the PS4 because I can't really give much of anything for Halo, but I don't deny it will boost sales, like how smash was nintendo's trump card.
Yup seriously the 3ds has been one of the best purchases I have made I absolutely love it I've owned mine for 3 years now and have used it constantly so many great games love it to death and same with my wii U Nintendo just knows how to make great fun games I've had so many people over that have only played Xbox and ps4 and get hooked and end up wanting to come back all the time to play smash , Super Mario 3d world or Mario kart.

You would've been right a year ago but as time goes by more and more awesome exclusives are finding their way to it, which given recent Nintendo history is a pretty big trend, hell the 3ds wasn't doing so hot either until the middle of 2013 when everything finally started coming out.
True, but easier for me, I suppose. My main reason for getting a Wii U would've been Smash Bros. and Mario Kart, but the 3DS has those games already. Yes, Mario Kart 7 is older, but it's still fun and enjoyable for me. So I guess it just depends on preference.

Fanboys try to make the tiny spec difference so big, when the difference between them really isn't that noticeable. True gamers admit that PC vs Console, there is a difference. Though Xbox One vs PS4, the difference is so unnoticeable it's not even worth caring about.
GameSpot even did an experiment to test this. Well in the last part of the test they had three PS4s side by side, and people thought there were clear quality differences, even when they were all PS4s.

I bought an xbox one a few weeks ago after extensively trying it out and also trying the PS4. In my opinion, the xbox is just slightly better overall. I love the UI and if you get the kinect, it just makes it that much more intuitive. The graphics are phenomenal, I've never actually noticed a difference in favor of PS4.

Very well put. Being that I've owned the PS4, Xbox One, and built multiple gaming PC's, I can say that one thing consoles have going for them is they are very convenient. Building/upgrading a PC is quite difficult for most people which is why consoles are so popular. I upgraded from the Xbox One to a gaming PC and I've never ever looked back. :) Anyways, great video man!

Kayla Erickson If you can afford $500 for a console, you can afford $500 for a PC. Just find the parts (quite easy to look up tutorials and shit) and build it yourself. The PC will run all games and 30/60 fps, depending on the game, just like a console. And games are cheaper on PC AND you get the rediculous steam sales (got Witcher 1 and 2 for $5, the whole Bioshock series for $10, Far Cry 1, 2, 3 and Blood Dragon for $10 etc.). Sure, games on consoles are more likely to work than on PC (like with the recent Arkham Knight shit), but all that means is that you need patience to wait until the game's issues are fixed, which most PC gamers do now days anyway. There is also guaranteed backwards compatability, choice of controlls (allows to customise the key bindings, what your using to control the game like an XBOX controller, keyboard and mouse etc.), more exclusives (bigger indie scene, more exclusives like MOBAs, MMOs etc.), bigger competetive scene, free online, play on ether your couch or desk (which you can do on console as well, I just had to clarify that because people like to say that on console, you can play on your couch like if PC can't do that), allowing you to upgrade your hardware, modding community (sure, you can mod on consoles, but it is illigal, and even so, it doesn't allow you to play online with those mods anyway, like games like TF2, CSGO, Gmod etc.) and so much more.
There is no reason to say that consoles are better than PC, because it is a straight up fact that PC is better than consoles. But that doesn't mean you're not allowed to prefer consoles, because it does take a bit of effort to build your PC, and maybe all your friends are on consoles, and your favorite exclusives might be on consoles. I completely respect people that prefer consoles because of personal reasons, like I prefer my 3DS over a next-gen console, even if it is worse by comparison in most aspects, but if people say that consoles are outright better! It just bugs me, cause I know it's not true. But hey, thats why I still don't have a girlfriend XD.

Yes, a good PC that can run games at 60, but 500 will still be able to run games at 30/60, depending on the game. And remember, that most games on console run at 30, with the occasional 60 fps. The same thing to you if you bought a 500 pc with the right parts.

Well, if your going to be a youtuber, of course you would need a better PC. But I am not talking about becoming a PC gamer, I am talking about just gaming on PC is better than console, considering the price and shit. Also, you do not need to upgrade you PC constately, even at that price. People constately upgrade and say you need to upgrade because they want the highest graphics, with the highest framerate. Legit, I have been using the graphics card that the article suggest with a bit higher specs, and can run Witcher 3 at Ultra with a few tweaks to the settings at 40/60 fps, still better than a console. Now imagine just using slightly worse specs and you would get Witcher 3 at high/medium at 30 fps, which is the standards for consoles.
When you say that you can't be a pro gamer with a crappy PC, you actually can. Most competetive games (that actually have a competetive scene) do not require a beast PC to run the game. Look at CSGO, 2nd most played game on steam, and yet lots of people run the game quite fine. Same as DOTA 2 and LoL, both really competetive, but a PC with the right parts, costing 500 will still be able to run the game at a smooth framerate.
Also, when you said that nest gen consts less than 500:
NextGen - $400 + ($90 for 1 year of online x the lifespan of a console about 6 years) $540 = $940 depending on when you first purchased the console. (also, I am not including how much games cost compared to the steam sales on PC)
PC - $500 (if you were to purchase this PC that I suggest, it isn't as bad as you think, trust me.) + $150 for good quality gaming keyboard and mouse + $0 fees for online = $650
I went on a website that told me how much I spent on steam, and I much my account actually is worth. I have 115 games that I have been able to purchase in the span of 2 years, keep in mind. steamdb.info/calculator/76561198086664153/?cc=us I do not think you can get even close to this on console I am afraid.
I will agree on saying that console is better IF you will never go online with it, to just play singleplayer games casually (and hardcore if you wish), because there won't really be much point dedicating so much to to build a PC, if in the end, you not really gonna be playing many multiplayer games on it.

The average gamer wouldn't wanna spend $500 dollars on their main gaming source, yet they spend around $940 because of the inclution of online. To them, $450 doesn't seem like much because it seems smaller, and they associate PC gaming to spending $2000 dollars. But adding it up, they indeed spend $940 in the longrun, which is indeed more than the PC that I was talking about, which is cheaper, same quality in terms of specs, yet has all the awesome features of PCs.
Basically, Console gaming is more expensive than a cheap PC with the right specs.

currently only have a PC but I've had a PS4 and a Wii u for a year and I will be getting a XBO soon so here are my thoughts on the Wii u and ps4.
Wii U: Perfect console if you already own a gaming PC or XBO but by itself it just doesn't have enough games and the games that it does have are not technologically good enough to impress you.
PS4: Good console, but it just feels like a worse version of a PC. Games look nice enough and generally run fine, however high online store prices and lackluster PS+ games mean that the Xbox one seems like a better choice for those that don't care if games run worse and just want to play the exclusives.
IMO: If you have a lot of money either get project Scorpio/Neo or get a PS4. But if you are on a tight budget, for the same price you can get an Xbox one, 3 months of gold and a few decent preowned games.

Xbox also has Tomb Raider exclusive. But I think right now the best game on all the next gen consoles is The Last of Us Remastered. I don't think this game gets enough credit. I know it is getting old, but the multiplayer is still so fun, and nothing beats the story mode. Really looking forward to Uncharted and the Division next year. Hopefully unisof to doesn't screw the division up though.

lil mOO Originally, yes. Xbox was going to have it as a timed exclusive. But, now Microsoft is going to publish the game itself. That's as of right now. Will it forever only be on Xbox One? That depends on Square Enix because they technically still own the IP of Tomb Raider and can decide what they do with it. Crytek did the same thing for Ryse (originally Xbox exclusive), but later released on PC. So, it depends on how good it actually sells for the Xbox and if Square Enix wants to release it on PS4 or PC later in the future.

PS+ membership gives you games, across ALL it's platforms. I've been getting triple A games on PS3 for a few years now for free. I don't own a Vita, but you also get Vita games for free monthly. Nothing beats the value of PSN's free games, so value-wise it doesn't really balance out, PS+ is $10 cheaper, and gives you more games, including a lot of triple A games on PS3. Cant' really argue with that.

It’s same price and Xbox gold gives you Xbox 360 and OG Xbox games on your actual Xbox one and Xbox 360, so in reality the value is the same, and can really be argued, and both have triple A game as well. They are around same value and not really a selling point on why one of the consoles are better.

Pablo Avila people only play uncharted 4 for the story. If you want a good game that you will be playing for a while, get halo 5 because it has an amazing story, and an amazing multiplayer. If you want a good story game, get uncharted 2 for the PS3, not uncharted 4. Halo 5 is 100 times better than uncharted 4. Xbox also has Forza and gears of war.
Play station consoles are better than any console so buy a ps 3&4 its better than all companys so buy playstaitin its better guys

Not one of those video's where people swear at an xbox one and say unimportant things like the Xbox one looks bad on the outside, and then say the voice commands are terrible because you swore at them and they didn't do anything. I'm really glad U mentioned Halo 5 but U missed out Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Forza 5,6 and Horizon 2

Trollsif Stalin In my opinion, consoles are better. I don't have to spend over $1000 and I don't have to worry if my graphics card is good enough to handle certain games and stuff like that. Of course, there's more you can do on computers but you spend at least $1000 if you want to handle the newer games.
