  • Ella helped me today by doing the recording while I operated the Case 1570 pulling the cultivator. Nothing like turning a little dirt!

I have a 1570 that I traded for some cows. My farm is only 50 acres. Tractor is just too big for our place.

I understand that. This tractor has been around my entire life, even if I outgrew it I would have a hard time watching it go down the road.

How does the case 1570 work out for you on the long run for farming??? Any issues with maintenance??? I plan on buying a case 1270 with duals. I'm mainly a IH guy. Never owned a ji case before..

This has been our horse of a tractor my entire life. We had an issue 20 years ago with the 2nd range power shift going out that we had to have it worked on. It is a big heavy old school machine that has served us well for many years.

@@CountryHobbyist I just brought a case 1270. As I was transporting it. On gear 4 2nd pwrshift going up a gravel rd. It lost power to a point like its on Neutral gear.... but on all the gears with 1st and 3rd pwrshift. It ran strong. Do you think I can still use it for discing 14acres this spring and fall??? I'm only going 3rd gear 1st pwrshift??

@@meateaterwhitetail7291 I can’t tell if you are just messing with me or if you really have a problem. My opinion is that I’m the last person to ask case mechanical questions to, but there is a lot of time between now and spring to get it figured out. Personally I would look at they hydronic oil, filter, and any screens it has. If you are giving me a hard time, I appreciate it! Either way, I sure hope you didn’t end up with a lemon

@@CountryHobbyist Trying to get some answers and opinions from ji case 70 series owners. I was wondering if it's just a Case thing with the Powershift...... I've been told to check the pressures. But thanks..

@@meateaterwhitetail7291 I get it, I didnt mean to come across as rude. I think in line with checking pressure is checking hydraulic oil. If one of the screens or filters is plugged up I would think it could cause some issues.

Wish the music wasn’t playing over the tractor. What make is that cultivator?

I think it’s a Hiniker 12-24. Maybe I’ll repost without music just for you guys. I hope to post some video the next week or so of that Case tugging our grain cart around. I’ll try to get more horsepower sound! Thanks for the comment and for watching!
