Blair is so fun! I’m overjoyed to see that she eats actually very reasonably and intuitively, not as restrictive as her “skinny legend” titles and challenges would imply. The satire in those challenges is pretty subtle though, a couple years ago I could definitely see myself taking those restrictive eating challenges as a guide for how to eat in my own life. Hopefully teens and young people can see through the sarcasm to the reality that she doesn’t actually endorse those eating habits, because if you didn’t know it was satire, you might not figure it out on your own if you aren’t a heavy sarcasm user yourself.
The water thing is huuuge. Diet culture taught me to drink water instead of eating to ward off cravings, and I had to unlearn that. Then through intuitive eating I RE-LEARNED that when I don't drink enough water I get headaches, and I eat all day without ever feeling satisfied. 🥴
Yuuuuup lord it’s a journey isn’t it? I used to drink water to ward off cravings too, but if I don’t drink enough of it I’ll get headaches and body aches.

For people who need to lose weight not just for aesthetics, but for their health, keto paired with intermittent fasting is a great way to lose weight and even reverse diabetes. I am back on keto, but getting most of my carbs from veg like leafy greens, zucchini, and mushrooms and a little onion and garlic. I LOVE me some zucchini-mushroom stir-fry! I also have blackberries and raspberries in moderation. I do also allow some room for treats that fit with the keto diet. I'm not doing this to become a little skinny minnie. I'm doing this to get back my health. I am at high risk of developing diabetes right now, and I want to have more energy and ability to keep up with the children at work (I am an early childhood educator and I work with infants/toddlers as well as preschool age children). I am also doing this because I don't want to feel winded from going up the stairs, and I want to be able to enjoy going hiking without being in pain.
Abbey, since so many of us are relying on frozen fruit during quarantine, can you do a video on the UTI risk factors of frozen fruit? Do we have to wash the frozen fruit? Doctors have told me that frozen fruits have a high UTI risk because they’re hard to wash
As viewer I have seen most of European RUclipsrs have a more "clean and healthy" eating without try to buy all the "organic" ingredients. As a Greek living with Mediterranean cuisine almost all my life (now vegetarian to vegan) I have seen recipes and ingredients of decades or even centuries ago that we eating here in Balcans or in Europe be trendy in USA for health/ taste reasons and it is so refreshing and a good opportunity to the world to learn about it
I knew you would love Blair!! I watch you both and feel like I learn alot from you both. My main reason for finding you was honestly searching for someone to show me whats "normal" and ok. Ive really learned alot. I have had eating disorders pretty much all my life. I was overweight for years, and after a hard break up I lost alot of weight. I got plastic surgery, which only heightend my already disored way of looking at myself, and developed anorexia and bulimia. I have been at a healthy weight for the past three years, but ive avoided diet culture completly for fear of spinning out of control again. People like you have really helped me see diet in a more normal and non-obsessive way. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a good role model, with no pressure to always eat the "perfect" food. I feel some "extreme" diets may work for some people, but this does not work for me. I enjoy blairs content because of her honesty and humour, but you are my go to when I need a reminder that certain patterns dont work very well for me. Lots of love from me to you and your beatiful family

Thank you for making me feel better about my canned peaches (in juice) that I throw in my lunchbox every once in a while. I work outdoors and my lunch gets jiggled around in a daypack for miles and most fruits just don’t make it. I can only eat so many apples before I’m sick of them so canned fruit cups give me a bit more variety. They also don’t go funky without refrigeration. I’ve also been known to buy those fruit purée pouches for kids because they’re equally convenient. At least I’m getting my fiber and nutrients.

The water thing is huuuge. Diet culture taught me to drink water instead of eating to ward off cravings, and I had to unlearn that. Then through intuitive eating I RE-LEARNED that when I don't drink enough water I get headaches, and I eat all day without ever feeling satisfied. 🥴
Thanks for sharing!
Yuuuuup lord it’s a journey isn’t it? I used to drink water to ward off cravings too, but if I don’t drink enough of it I’ll get headaches and body aches.
Just as a heads up, I don’t think she’s on holiday. From my understanding she has lived in Europe for a few years and was born in Bulgaria
Thanks for the intel
It was meant to be a holiday, then COVID happened and their stuck their for a while.
Blair! When did you get famous enough for someone to review YOU’RE eating?!?!? Been following for so long and it’s great to see your success! I’m so proud 😭
😊
Glad that works for you
Abbey, since so many of us are relying on frozen fruit during quarantine, can you do a video on the UTI risk factors of frozen fruit? Do we have to wash the frozen fruit? Doctors have told me that frozen fruits have a high UTI risk because they’re hard to wash
Thanks for the suggestion
That's a balanced Walnut!!! Lol
Best comment!
😊
Ms. Abbey, next please Linda Sun ☺ she's a teen and kinda making a great impact debunking the diet culture. She's refreshing.

Thank you! 😍❤
My two favorite youtubers at the moment. This is so GOOD!
Thanks!
As viewer I have seen most of European RUclipsrs have a more "clean and healthy" eating without try to buy all the "organic" ingredients. As a Greek living with Mediterranean cuisine almost all my life (now vegetarian to vegan) I have seen recipes and ingredients of decades or even centuries ago that we eating here in Balcans or in Europe be trendy in USA for health/ taste reasons and it is so refreshing and a good opportunity to the world to learn about it
Thank you for sharing
I love Blair! I was so excited to see this video on my notifications!
😊
Thank you for sharing your experience
She really said “that’d be bad news bears for someone we know 🍌” 😂😂😂
Have you reviewed Thomas Delauer? Keto and fasting supporter.
I’d love to see you review Emily Ewing’s videos. She’s vegan and makes what I eat in a week videos that are really relatable & simple. Also Krocks in the Kitchen who are a couple that lost a combined 300+ pounds eating a whole food plant based diet

Omg 2 weeks!! I’m so excited for you ❤️ another awesome and educational video!!
Thank you!
I have been waaaiiiitttting for you to take a look at Blair! She’s very different than other food focused channels, and always has a healthy vibe for food, and obvi is funny and lighthearted.
Agreed!
My heart literally exploded when she said "people who menstruate". 😍 Why is nobody in the comments talking about it???
Inclusive legend
But only women menstruate lol.
❤️❤️
Demetter not all women menstruate and not all people that menstruate identify as women.
@@ZeinabAidid Biological women menstruate. Calling yourself a woman if born a biological man doesn't make you a biological woman, it just means you think you're something and it makes you comfortable being that thing.
Compared to a lot of people on youtube--she's so refreshing (and entertaining).
Agreed!
Could you do a video on type 1 diabetes and the best way to keep to blood sugar in check with diet?
Thanks for the suggestion!
I am a T1 as well. Would love that!
Yes please!
I love Blair and she loves you! So happy you made this video! 💚
😊❤️
I had an orthognathic surgery and I must eat only liquids for 45 days. What can you recommend me to make it a balanced diet?
A good and decent protein powder that has vitamins and minerals in it too combined with fruits and nut butter in a smoothie. A fruit smoothie with hemp seeds added and some frozen veggies like cucumber, zucchini and cauliflower. Water. Water with greens powder. Fizzy water if that's allowed with lemon and orange slices in it. Soups -- veggie soups, well blended. A milkshake every once in a while too. Water with vitamin powder in it might help too. Good luck!!
Loving the “banana shortage” aka Freelee reference😂
I grew up eating tuna casserole!! Pasta with cream of mushroom, peas and tuna 😍 such a goodie, tuna with pasta is underrated!!
Hey! Can you please please please do a video on intermittent fasting? I’m vegan and have been for 4 years now so and I feel like I need to change up my diet without omitting food from my already restrictive diet. Also. Some of the claims sounds really positive and would love a reality check on those! Love your videos ❤️❤️ thank you 🍍
I have an older one here (ruclips.net/video/LsJHIJFgu2M/видео.html) but def needs to be fully updated with lots and lots more info and research.. theres a lot to cover!!
Ah thank you 🙏🏻
I applaud what you are promoting, healthy habits, balance
Thank you
She is from Bulgaria and lives there btw!
Thanks for the intel
Haha Blair is great fun to watch! Her videos always make me feel happier.
Agreed!
Pleaaase review Pamela Reif soon! I'd love to see that😍

You seem to make these videos mainly to reassure people with eating disorders and debunk “diet myths”. Not just sharing information about nutrition. I really really appreciate that!
So glad it is helpful!
Would love to see a review of Nikki Philippi!

I have a topic I'd like your take on abbey:
I work full time. My job includes walking, standing, squatting, heavy lifting, bending, jogging, etc for a minimum of 8.5 hours a day. I also spend about 30 minutes a day walking my dog.
Should these things be included as exercise? I only count gym workouts as exercise, but wonder if I'm potentially doing something a bit unhealthy doing that
Maybe ask to someone more in the exercise area?

Love her energy- it's refreshing!
we’ve been waiting for this
😊
PS Abby - Bulgaria is known for the amazing probiotics in their yogurts! My partner is Bulgarian and my favourite part of travelling to Bulgaria is to eat :)
Thanks for sharing!
Yess an upload!!! You’ve made quarantine so fun and educational! But seriously, take some time off if you need it with baby!🧡we’ll be here whenever you come back, love you Queen 👩🏼⚕️🍫👑
Thank you so much 😊❤️
freakin love Blair so much! editing style is just so chaotic but the BEST!
😊👍
Would you ever do something like a video about "Nutrition 101"?
I love all of your videos but can get quite confused sometimes as I know nothing about food and nutrition and would really like to learn :)
Thanks for the suggestion!
Abby, I love your hair. You are GLOWING.
Thank you!
Awww I love Blair! She always keeps it real.
😊
Love Blair, chaotic Queen 🙆♀️ Can you do Keltie O'conner also? Another positive fun slightly chaotic youtouber!

PastelRose same. It tastes like bile 😂😂😂🤮
👍👍
I don’t know if you’ve done a video on her before, but could you make a video on Diana Malloy? She’s one of my favorite youtubers, she has a great personality, and a really good relationship with food, exercise, and her body🥰

You would LOVE Victoria Garrick!! She is a former athlete and loves the intuitive eating way!! I think a review of her eating day would be a good positive shift!!

Thankfully it's illegal to smoke in Canada. I remember when the took down the barrier in Tim Hortons between the smoking and non-smoking areas. I was a teenager, and I definitely remember wanting to leave a bingo hall because of all the smoke.
LOL at the Freelee shade 26:12
😂
not sure if you review dieting videos but I would love if you made a video on beatrice caruso. she has a method of 'cut cycling' that i'd love to hear your thoughts on. Plus she has a really fun personality.

As someone who’s also anemic, I find it hard to get enough protein regularly. But I also have cravings that result in days where I some how avoid protein heavy foods. I’m not sure what that’s about.
Glad that was helpful
My heart broke when you said that you despise Aperol... but then it was repaired by you being here for the french fries lol. Thank you for another awesome video Abbey!
😂❤️
