    This is the only video I found on how to make both ends look the same. I couldn't figure out where to start closing at the cast on end. This was super helpful thank you so much :) :)

    This is the best way to close I've ever done. I only use this one on my scarves. Thank you for sharing!

    I had the hardest time doing this! I've had two minor strokes and my hands have some mobility issues but I got it! Thank you for your very detailed video! It did the trick. It's also been 30 years since I crocheted.

    I just can't get this right. The waste yarn never unravels, I end up cutting it off and pretty much screaming in frustration 😭😭🥺🥺🥺😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

    Nice tutorisl, but I don’t understand what this has to do with three needles.

    thank you for this tutorial it has helped so much! Do you have a tutorial on doing a crochet bind off using waste yarn on panel mode? I’m having troubles on that and that would help sm!

      You're welcome! I do not have a video for that. But, what seems to be the problem? Maybe I can walk you through it.

      @@CalumetKnits I seem to be having difficulties on finding what stitches to pick up when slip-stitching the first and ends to a panel piece. I always end up with a larger hole there as if I dropped a stitch! & im not sure how to fix it if I did 😖

    Thank you for this tutorial :) but I'm confused a bit. At the end there was a tail left. How do I cut the tail and secure the end so the stitches do not unfold?

    • @CalumetKnits
      @CalumetKnits  Год назад

      You can secure it to a stitch with knot and then bury the tail.

    Wow! I learned a different way to finish off my tube but this method turned out perfect! The only thing I noticed is my fingerless glove cuff area doesn’t give/stretch when I fold my tube in half to make fingerless gloves.
    Do you do anything different on the bindoff end of the tube?

      I agree the bindoff is tight for fingerless gloves. I have a different technique that I use but need to work on the video.

    That is a slip stitch cast off

    • @CalumetKnits
      @CalumetKnits  Год назад +1

      Yes, but not to be confused with other "slip stitch" methods that are commonly used. The 3-needle bind off is a knitting term; so this is a crochet/knitting machine equivalent to that technique.
