I have a Nissan Patrol Y61 1999 2.8 Diesel. Before i tell you the problems i had let me tell you that this is the best car i ever had and compared to lots of other cars this car for me is a King. You can put what ever you want inside. It goes anywhere, 4x4 is awesome and it pulls everything! I have 130000 miles on it and arrouns 115 i changed the engine gasket because water was getting into the pistons. How ever the problem that scares me is that sometimes the car loses its power and the check engine light comes on. I cant rev it more than 1000 rpm's even when the throttle is flat. After a few minutes everything is fine and the light turns off. I have this problem for many years but noone found a solution (lots of mechanics and electrical engineers checkes the car) how ever it is something that i can live with it and it doesn't happen every day. Many twice a week or less. Something that i am worried is that this car cranks for a lot time before the engine starts running especially when cold
My 2.8 is still going strong at 450,000 kms

Remember to glow the plugs boss
@@willmcc05 what do you mean?
@Will M so by glowing the plugs you mean to have them in pressure?
@@andreashadjiantonis turn the key to accessories wait a minute then crank it
@Will M yes thats what i am doing for years however the problem still exists
Great video man!
2.8 td6 better than 3.0 4 cylinders, that's the truth.
Can i ask what ATF fluid recommended for nissan parol petrol AT transmission? The users manual was lost. Thanks
Not sure what atf fluid you’ll need but I’m pretty sure the transmissions and gearbox’s are the same through all models petrol and diesel
@@outlawdingo3020 thanks

Useless vid, unclear and vague
Clickbait just to get the quotas up 💯%
Never seen a GU shorty in OZ 👍
Rubbish. Bland delivery with difficult to follow information and mispronunciation of basic words.
Waste of my time
