They need to redesign & update that pin, the tech in it is like 15 years old - with more modern tech it could be smaller (closer to the prop size) and have capacitive touch sensor (just like my cheap Bluetooth earbuds) as opposed to the physical *button* you click that it has now. And it could be made smaller, thinner, lighter, with a stronger magnet and a better battery.
It's cool and all. I might even get one myself - but this thing has been around for a long time, and our tech has since gotten better - this combadge could be a legitimate piece of tech, and not just a *toy*!

I think the idea is cool. Given time for a software update to make it actually work, it could be a good product.
Unfortunately, it's not functionally very different from a smart watch that's paired to your phone with a digital assistant. My refurbished Galaxy Watch 4 Classic was $80 and its monthly subscription fee is $0.
BUT, it doesn't need a smartphone to function! So if you're the target audience of the minimalist phones with E-ink displays, and would rather it be a wearable, it's an option! For twice the price.
So if it got a software update to actually work, and the price were slashed in half, then it would be a great product for a very small, very niche market

That thing shouldve just been a bluetooth device that connects to your phone instead of being its own thing. The phone already is capable of everything it does except the projection image thingy. When i first saw it i thought it would be decent on a wristband or watch, just need to change the design a bit.
