This song was specifically written super heavy on purpose and wasn't published on any album because of it. This song should be about as heavy as they go outside of breakdowns here and there and if they do write a song like this again it also won't be on album.
A Japanese festival organizer went a little nuts with the upcoming Mixed Hell 2024 festival. It's all 'core style groups. Hanabie and Jiluka are both invited and the headliner looks like it's going to be the softest group with PassCode. 🤭
Yeah, Matsuri went to town with this one, but it wasn't included on the album not so much because it was heavy per se, but because the vibe is very different from everything else on Reborn Superstar. Like it literally doesn't fit there. Equally heavy songs might find their place onto an album depending on the album's concept. Hell, we might get one already with the upcoming EP.
As for the festival - that lineup is insane - but it ain't all *core. There are a couple of bands I don't know very well, but at least VMO (love these guys) & Kokeshi are very different and iirc the whole idea of Mixed Hell is to feature a variety of bands that don't fit the usual metal mold ^^

@@omnisemantic1 Tales of Villain is most likely as close as we'll get in album. I would love to be wrong though.

@@MarvinHeartless It's an awesome concept! The guy organizing it (the editor of the Headbang mag) said he's gonna try and do it twice an year. Which means that the first 2025 edition will probably be in May, which is also when Hanabie are gonna do their 10th Anniversary festival event. If all them stars align I might actually bite the bullet and go to Tokyo 🙏
Check out the opening easycore band too at Mixed hell 2024. They are awesome live. Started in 2023. Launcher No.8. The lead singer Luka has a great scream too.

I first heard it on their Halloween stream from two years ago with all of them performing dressed as Winnie the fucking Pooh... Hanabie are pretty damn surreal even on a normal day, but that one live bro 🤣🤣🤣
They often play this live. I heard it twice last year in Australia and once in Japan. Its one of my favorites that not a lot of new fans know about.
