I love watching people react to band like this that you just do not expect whats about to happen. I have know about them for a while. I love female Japanese bands and this popped up in the suggestions and I clicked on it and was blown away in the first couple seconds. There was another band in the suggestions of this vid called Broken by the Scream that I clicked on and was very happy with what I saw and heard. I would love to see the list you were sent. I always think I know all the bands and then one pops up I never saw.

"Why aren't they super famous yet?" - Because metal practically doesn't exist in Japanese mainstream music. At least when it comes to bands that formed in the last 10 to 15 years. BABYMETAL is probably the most known domestically of those and even they barely sell 150k albums and never had a top 5 single in a country that still mainly buys physical copies (CDs, DVDs, etc) when it comes to music. They're also the only ones who sell out venues with more than 5 or 6k capacity. Reason: They put on a show. The music is secondary for a lot of their domestic fans. If you don't deliver a show, nobody'll buy tickets. I'm not sure the two BABYMETAL members would even be recognized by a lot of people on the street because Japan is all about J-Pop (mostly Idolgroups) and "Poprock", aka J-Rock (when it comes to domestic bands and groups). All these metal bands are probably more known outside of Japan (thanks to RUclips) than in their own home country, especially bands like Lovebites who concentrate solely on the music at their live shows.

Even groups like Band-Maid are more known internationally than domestically. The upside is that the metal fans that do exist in Japan are super hardcore, dedicated fans.

    Yeah! Hanabie!!! 👍🤘😃
The name of this song, translated, is We love sweets.
Who does the screamings is Yukina, lead singer. The other members are Matsuri (Guitar & clean vocals), Hettsu (Bass & chorus) and
    Sae (Drums).
For the next reaction, try see L.C.G.
I like to think of Hanabie as if they were Nemophila's younger sisters. But, in fact, their inspiration is Maximum the Hormone, if you don't know it, it's worth seeing.
You've seen Dissension, as Nemophila released a live video about three hours ago. It's one of your original songs, Oiran, the sound is really good and the energy of the performance is amazing.
    It's very much worth seeing:
    LIVE】NEMOPHILA / OIRAN (NAONのYAON2021)

Oops, I just made a comment on your Nemophila reaction asking you to react to this song 😁😁😁 Anyway, good reaction. Here's another suggestion, Maximum The Hormone. A really exciting Japanese metal band. Yoshu Fukushu or Alien are the songs i recommend from this band.

Ha-na-bee-eh, as a Sr. high school club band, did Maximum The Hormone (MTH) covers. Akane (drums, Band Maid) learned to play drums after seeing Nao Kawakita (drums, MTH). The rest is being written in the history book of Maidaics, Po! Try MTH (Japan). You will not be disappointed,
