i am using official server settings, my man nothing boosted, however as i explained in the beginning there is a very good reason why i go to that surface entrance in my testings it provided the best loot not all surfaces are the same as many might expect. and in the end you still gotta be lucky.
Before you land on rock Drake go invisible, if you die while getting the drop your rock Drake will stay invisible and not get attacked as long is on passive.
@@lordnorthrenfangbjrn8638 go with another Drake invisible and whistle the Drake you went with first. Have it follow you to the entrance and you good. Both drakes will be invisible walking back. Forget about your gear you ain’t getting that lmao
yeah, I agreed the surface reaper quantity seems nuts. the best thing is to just jump collect crate and go away and if you do it to slow try again the same drop
Not to be a jerk or anything I just want you to know that these aren't official settings so you can change it. You got an almost 400% damage harpoon launcher (most thigns cap out at 298% on official).
i am aware that max is 298% for weapons with official i just simply mean i did not increase the quality to make it look better, so basically this would have been a max damage harpoon on official.

can you a karkinos taming guide, they are super useful for aberration and cannons dont reduce taming effectiveness anymore. And if you own bobs tall tales, you can tame a horse and put a cart onto it with a cannon to knock out the karkinos super easy

I tried to collect some oil with anky..only got like 30-50 from a rock.. is that normal? really sucks my beatles can do better.. it seem bugged.. I remember hundreds of oil per rock in ASE...
If you're on Series S there's nothing you can do. Drop beams have been invisible since April when Scorched Earth dropped. You need to have your Global Illumination set to Medium or higher. Series S doesn't have that option. All we can do is wait until they update to Unreal Engine 5.4 and hope that the memory usage improvements come with a fix.
to be more clear on this, when you first arrive on the surface there will already be 2 drops on the ground, and they wont have beams. You either have to find them without the beams, or wait for them to despawn and all the rest of the drops after that will have beams until you leave the surface. This is one reason why i like the NW surface best, it is by far the smallest surface zone so it makes finding the initial beamless drops much easier, and far far less time traveling around for drops in general. And you can see both supply drop beams from anywhere in that zone. The NW zone you don't need a marker for the entrance either, because you can see the obelisk from anywhere in that zone and there is only one raised path to the obelisk, and its in a straight line to the entrance.
Appreciate this, but sadly not in my case. I play on the highest settings with a 40 series card. I've tried just about everything. I don't ever see any beams no matter how long I'm out there. The only thing that I see that shows me a drop, is if there is a red ring around the drop. That's it!@@zorthecruel6558
It's hard to please everyone and i understand, i did record this with default loot quality settings. max difficulty and single-player settings disabled however, i have to admit it seemed a bit better then usual. im using 0.7 now - this does not take away from the fact that the surface has really good loot tho.

They need to lower the spawn rate of these damn surface reapers. You shouldn't have to fight off 10 reapers to get 1 blue drop

cave drops are good as well but the problem there is you can only collect a few every 30 min while on the surface you can collect a ton

try elemental vault, you will not find a lot of drops compared to the surface, however the quality is very high

Spino and trilobites is way faster. 200 oil per minute almost
I noticed this , I think they changed it up as the beetle is much more efficient now also, makes sense I think

i did show the better ones that i found of course, but these drops are really good on officials as well you just gotta be lucky in the end.
Why is that surface the best?
well to put it simple, high loot quality and you can farm a lot of drops in a short amount of time

I have on my xsx 100-110 fps so idk where u have low fps. If u are using game without commands is a ~40
