Campervan Trip to Northumberland | Part 1

Join us as we take our self-built campervan on a trip to Northumberland.
In part 1 we arrive at Beadnell Bay Camping and Caravan Club Site. We head to Beadnell Bay beach, take a walk around Beadnell village and have lunch at the Craster Arms.
Next we head out to Holy Island (Lindisfarne) and drive down the causeway. We visit the beautiful St Mary's Church and check out the spectacular views over the Lindisfarne Castle. We go to the lime kilns, visit the Gertrude Jekyll walled garden and in Lindisfarne Mead, Val purchases her first ever bottle of mead!
As we head towards Bamburgh Castle, we start to feel Storm Babet really closing in - even Tess starts to feel the cold! We stop off at the village of Seahouses before heading to the Bamburgh Castle grounds.

After many years of Camping and Caravanning we've decided to set out in our campervan and explore what more the British Isles has to offer - and we've brought our dog along too!

Rather than buy a ready-made motorhome, we decided to go about things the hard way by converting our Citroen Relay into a campervan. When we're not on the road, we'll also show you how we build, maintain, and repair our holiday home on wheels!

Annandale services is one of our favourite service stations 😂 Roxy loves the walk
We have never stayed at Beadnell Bay campsite but it’s one for the list it looked fab so close to the beach
Holy island is great too!

Yes Annandale is one of our favourite services, that's our usual stop when we are heading to Scotland, along with Killington Lake. Beadnell Bay campsite is nice and just a few minutes walk to the most dog friendly pub we have ever been in.
