My families first NEW car when I was growing up a1963 Bel-Air!! The only opts. on the car was power steering, a powerglide tranny and a AM radio. My pop kept this car on the road til the mid 80's til the frame rotted out in the rear.
So does that mean the chevy two was a chick car? Man I loved my 64 chevy nova more than anything. I now own one for daily and one that goes 8.20 in the 1/4 that is registered and drivable on the street. I have a 67 chevelle SS with the 396 that is for sale and I plan on getting the 64 chevelle once its sold. Hit me up its absolutely flawless in stick condition and only has 29,000 miles on the original numbers matching running gear. Beyond immaculate

I like how the Corvette "winks" at her.

Back then GM was 'King of the World'.
I always notice on old tv shows that people always exited the car through the passenger door across that bench seat.
@gogmorgoaway
I think it is because the driver can schooch across the seat to the left side with out going on the street.

What's with getting in from the passenger side? I've noticed this in a couple of the commercials so far, with the camera on different sides, too...
