I could not agree more I have literally been looking everywhere to see if Matthew has ADHD because I swear... Seriously, people say he's not answering questions / avoiding them... But he 100% does! Every interview, they ask him a question and his brain connects the words/context with something (else) totally related and/or relevant to what they were asking... ... yet not exactly *what* they were asking! 😆 And I only notice watching it back afterwards because that's literally how my brain works so I followed his train of thoughts and made the connections with him and in my head not only did I get the answer to the question that was being asked, but it made perfect sense, too! And yes I have ADHD (confirmed) combined with giftedness and potentially a few autistic traits (still under evaluation). And the way he seems to selectively listen to certain things at times, like I explained answer the interrogations that the questions asked brought forth rather than the questions themselves, can come up on the spot with complex stories and scenarios... Or even just when they had him and Dom do the parabatai oath together for fun... He went on this (playful, he was obviously teasing) rant about how people can't just keep making demands out of them like that because they're human beings and it's not some kind of dance monkey situa - "alright I've got to hold you now. Stand up." Just how ridiculously fast he switched mode and went from "rant-rant-rant" *BAM* "Dom keep up I'm supposed to be holding you now. What do you mean we're doing this? Of course we're doing this where have you been?" It's like while his mouth is ranting part of his brain is already mentally on the next task so the moment he stops ranting he's doing the next thing without transition. That's something I do all the time apparently and it drives my partner nuts 'cause he's like "Wait? Did you change subject?! You seemed so into the other thing you were saying that it took me a moment to realize you are talking about something else! Tell me when you change subjects." I mean, for me it's obvious that 1 second ago I was talking about "X", but that was 1 second ago and this is now and that's what I'm talking about now. How are you confused? You're confusing me! 😂 Oh, yeah, and if something interests me I can also get stuck on a subject, while everyone else has moved on and not have noticed others are no longer talking about it. I'll sometimes literally blurt out the answer to something that people have resolved 10 minutes ago and be surprised no one else is still looking into that. So anyway, as I was saying my brain thinks Matthew Daddario's makes perfect sense and is refreshingly easy to follow and keep up with... and somehow I've a feeling that we may share some neurocognitive attributes that are tied to some level of neurodiversity. (And yes, I also do the "hand thing" that Dom keeps making fun of when I talk...) And now I'm excited because it's literally the first time I see someone bring this up!
