- Just doing a personal comparison for the different color profiles for video. Which one did you like best??
For the final look, I used a LUT from IWLTBAP (worst name ever, right?) Called C-9560.
Shot on Fujifilm X-T3 with a Sigma 18-35 and an unupdated Fringer EF-FX Pro II adapter(hence the focus hunting at times)
Best for flexibility in post: F-Log
Best for a great look straight out of camera with minimal adjustments: Classic Chrome
What everyone loves: Eterna (looks great here but I can't seem to get the hang of the look yet when I try to grade it in post. Makes reds and yellows too saturated for me.)
Underrated: Pro Neg Std (looks great in this vid. Haven't tried it myself)
Least one I like: Provia, especially after additional grading
I was going to ask your thoughts on the profiles in your first comment! I love seeing others opinions on these. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Classic Chrome sooc looks just absolutely perfect!! 😍 nice vid!
Can’t go wrong with classic chrome
Ok I know this is late from your uploaded date but I just want you to know this is the video that made me fully committed to the Fuji system. The color and the "look" is just absolute insanity (in the best possible way), straight out of the camera from the sensor that's two generation old! It's subtle, pleasing and not overdone. I spent hours literally using other camera in log and all to get half close to this kind of naturalness and still so far away from it. When they say Fuji has nice color, it's still way very under appreciated. The best part of it all is that it reduces the time in post SO SO SO very much. I am sure the legendary 18-35 added to the look a bit (that sharpness and the nice amount of bokeh, not overdone) but still your channel represents what Fuji camera can produce with the right hand!
You’re way too kind, my friend. I’m glad you’re digging Fuji. I know I couldn’t imagine using another company at this point!
I agree very much with your analysis on Fuji colors. It's indeed that subtlety that is great, it's a matured instead of 'Instagramish'.
oh geez this is one of the most helpful Fujifilm Videography videos I've seen on here. Thanks for this.
Thank you thank you thank you! So straight forward. So sleek.
Thanks for watching!
Doing this evaluation myself. I do like them all. Very interesting and helpful. Thanks.
I like them all too lol I wish there was a clear winner but there really isn't.
Pro Neg Standard looked sweet in all stages...
Awesome reference video, thanks for making this!
Thank you it’s very useful. Can you explain what happened at 1:18 and 1:20. The color suddenly changed 2 times!
I forgot to take off the color grade. So where it was just supposed to be +contrast it had the greens adjusted as well. I'm a RUclips noob still after all this time.
Oh okay!
@@ZachTigue can you make a similar video compring Eterna with Astia and Pro Neg Standard in a similar scene in nature with sky and all. I want to see how all of these looks in exact same scenario but my only request is to please set auto WB and then lock it as I want to see how camera set WB for scene. Just add contrast and saturation later. I want to know the color palet of these 3 profiles for travel filmmaking.
I know too much to ask from a stranger but I really want to see before I but a Fuji X-S10!!! Please?
@@animaxxx4429 I’ll try to upload a video in the morning, friend.
@@ZachTigue Thank you so much!!!
Love the eterna look, straight out of the camera :)
What's the dynamic range with a colour profile vs. FLOG?
Thank you🤩So useful video 🤩
Awesome! Glad ya liked it
So no luts were used except for f-log?
Great video too man!!!
Not until the final grade. All profiles used a very subtle lut at the end.
very nice, thanks!
Thank you!!
Hey you're welcome!
Man spent three days looking for something like this, I notice you have all the sirui lenses have you tried adapting the 35mm? Or do you know if it is even possible? Regards
Hey thanks for watching! I haven't personally tried adapting the 35 but I do know some people have had success with third party companies doing a mount conversion. I don't know which ones they used though.
What mean triangle?
Exposure triangle.

Don't tell anyone
@Kyle Putman well, duh!
@@Can_Cem we’re actually friend in real life. I was just giving him a hard time.
@@KylePutman Thank you for your kind reply. I didn't mean to be offensive if I were. Wish you and your friend all the best. 🤗
