@@BarneyTrent There is indeed mate, this river will produce some good fish and i look forward to fishing more of it. Thanks for watching and all the best 👍🏻🎣
What a small world, I was just scrolling through RUclips and I'm like this fella looks familiar. I met you on this fishing trip and you said you managed to land a chub and i showed you a few of the fish I have landed from that river.

Hi Tom was just sitting here catching up on your vids and realised I fished there in my teens with a couple of old mates, must be 35 yrs ogo used to be some cracking chub in there proper perch, big roach and had loads of pike around those bridges. I know it was a while back but might be worth a chuck with the old lure rod or dead bait, tight lines fella and pb's for 2025
@@robheasman7760 Hi Rob, thanks for your lovely comment and that is amazing that you used to fish here in your teens. I have some dead bait in the freezer so i might just have to give that a go. This river has a lot to offer so I’m definitely going to be putting some hours into it. I’ve just caught my pb Chub on boxing day so a video of that will be coming out soon! Thanks for watching and tight lines for you too mate 👍🏻🎣
@RoveWithTom nice one mate look forward to watching that nothing like a scrap with a big chub on a small river, I also fished staines Moor or Stanwell rings a bell got smashed up by a crazy carp, would of won me the match against my mates will never forget that one .
@@Smiffy830 Hi Smiffy. Yeah, this river runs right next to the Colne. The Colne is hard going unless you know the right spots (which i don’t know a lot of to be honest). Really are some beautiful stretches of water
Hi Tom, not sure but I think its the Wraysbury river, they meet up on staines Moor. Good place to fish, but overhead powerless are a potential hazard, or so I'm told. 🤔 Anyway, loving the vids, keep at it, all the best🐟🪱🎣👍
Good stuff mate. I’ve got a little back pack chair/stool for chub fishing. Can get all my gear in it and you can sit with rod on lap and miss less bites. I got one for a score from go outdoors. It’s defo helped my chub fishing. Tight lines mate keep it up 👍
@@elliottlock9555 Cheers, Elliot. They really are handy. Perfect for these little river sessions where you can just keep roving and get into tight swims. Thanks for watching and tight lines mate 👍🏻🎣
Nice work, fella, and a happy new year 🎉🎣🐟
