Cracking session, I think everyone is feeling your pain on rivers and canals. I don’t think there’s an angler I’ve spoken to that’s not said it’s the wettest winter they remember.

Yes, at least the fish have enjoyed the extra water! It’s nice to be able to go out and get a few bites in such conditions, and that’s where still waters that aren’t frozen come into their own 🎣 Thank you for watching 🙂

Unfortunately I think it’s a sign of things to come, hotter summers and wetter winters! Great opportunity to try new venues though 😉🎣🎣

It's not though it's average😂, a quick Google search will show you that. It was nearly double in 2019. Any excuse for your blanks 😂

I only really fish one lake, and that gets run off from an adjacent river so it’s a double whammy 😔
Going to have one last bash on the river this weekend before the endless 3 month wait.

Great vid. Glad you mentioned the fact you attach a length of fluro between your braid and trace. Do you think it would bring more bites when luring for perch. My club rules are that trace must be used when lure fishing and i have been mulling over the idea of using a fluro length attached to my 6lb micro trace.

Yes, many anglers use it when perch fishing using fine wire 👍🏼 and there’s a lot of fluro options in the new Strike Point Drop’n’Jig lineup. Good luck 🎣
