    Just want you to know that since watching this video, my company has switched to Missive. I have delegated my inbox, and have key members in my entire company using it to collaborate on important email. Thank you for everything Layla!

    Hi. Just want to ask - I am an EA and new to Missive. I watched your video and tried watching the Missive channel for tutorials However, I can't figure out where Archived goes? And I cannot reply to emails assigned to me. can you help me check where Archive goes? I am cleaning up my CEOs email. Thank you in advance.

      I’d give it a “B-“ grade. It works, but it’s nothing special. It’s faster to just use the ClickUp Chrome extension.

    Layla - how do you deal with the severe history limitations? You have to pay a lot to be able to search emails older than 6 months etc

      When we were on the free plan, I’d simply open Gmail if I needed history older than the limit. 🙂
      Eventually, the value made it worth upgrading to save this step and make history shareable!

    Great video. Regarding the free plan, if I understand correctly, all emails disappear after 15 days? Any way to backup them somewhere?

      They disappear from Missive but they’re still in your main email client (for example, Gmail) and are not deleted! So no extra backups needed. 😉

    Great video! Quick question: do you use the “tasks” feature of Missive? Or do you go back to ClickUp for tasks? What have you found to be the most effective approach? Thanks!

      We’ll track tasks as Notes or Tasks only if they’re small action items we need to quickly do to resolve an email.
      If they’re not quick or not being done within the day, we have a ClickUp list and we create Task(s) there! ☺️

    Interesting video on this. I use Postbox myself for the templating ability and the option to redirect emails directly to other staff accounts. I like the one time price option (other than for major upgrades) and the search and tagging options which are similar in some ways to Missive because we tend not to need much more than a fire and forget system for emails. Great search ability makes it easy to find email chains if I need to review anything.

      I forgot to mention that the video gave me the incentive to use Postbox's "Topic" tag to colour the emails for any invoices we get for different businesses. This is already saving a lot of scrolling time and saving me from missing them. It might now be a big deal for most but when I have to change the business account in Quickbooks, it always takes extra time.
      Their "Redirect" function is also a huge timesaver for me as many email programs don't have it. It's much better than forwarding a message to different staff because, like me. they often just hit "Reply" and then will send their reply back to the main address. If you redirect the message, it is just like it was sent to the new address directly so any reply goes back to the sender automatically.
