Honestly I don't like these finales where the power scaling just gets ridiculous. I like the simple concept of alternate universes and fun stories! I have no idea what's happening in these finales and when everything is over the top powerful, nothing is. I don't know, I just like the simplicity of the basic episodes...😅
This just bothers me so much. They set up Loki in his series and What If literally had so many opportunities to get him involved in some way. I honestly wanted him to intervene in the finale fight. Making an actual use of a character we saw develop in a successful series would've been great imo. If they got Tom Hiddleston voice Loki in this series, I honestly don't know what's stopping Marvel.

Technically speaking wouldn’t the safest place to be to go hide be the TVA since everything powers related isn’t able to work the same way? Ei: they use infinity stones as paper weights.
@@Greenhawk4 I think all types of powers don't work there, which I was wondering how Wade was healthy in TVA since his mutation would probably be nullified, so I just considered that a plot hole. And yeah, while the TVA exist outside of the multiverse, so too the Watchers and are in Fifth Dimension.
@brandonalbaldon2781 the caption for this last episode was the end of the beginning, so honestly this could just be a jumping off point into a new what If show that doesn't focus on one storyline and on mcu related events but instead just random other universes in marvel so they can use any character they want. That is kinda what that last scene was giving atleast
An action packed finale!!! We've been calling the Watcher Uatu for years and now it's like he heard us begging to say his name!! Thank you Uatu for doing us a favor in saving Madisynn!! As much fun it was to have Captain Carter, Storm, Kahhori, and Birdie play in this battle, what should've been done was what Endgame did and bring back the other characters from past seasons. Heck they could've brought back the remaining Guardians of the Multiverse. It would be pretty tough to bring back Star-Lord T'Challa, but I wouldn't mind if he didn't speak since Chadwick is no longer with us. Again tough, but an option. I can agree that this finale left a lot to be desired and I wish there was more, especially with a tease on this will effect the MCU after this. But I still fun time with the series.

Hey there! This is kinda random but i always love seeing your optimistic takes around different channels. Like with Star Wars in Kyle Katarn’s channel. It’s just something i think we need some more of, so thanks!
All those character variants in the credits looked way more interesting than most of the characters we’ve gotten in this whole show. Too bad we’ll never get them 😂
Peggy really hit that man with the “puny god” treatment 🤣❤️ This series finale was one of the best eps of the whole show, and I feel like that’s all we can really ask for

I just loved seeing Strom absolutely kick ass in this episode! It was so cool to see her interact with other characters from the Marvel Mythos and just be absolutely badass. Plus, I think that was a little tease at the end for the show, possibly returning in a more complete format, possibly after Secret Wars. 👀 I guess time will tell, but I thought this was a really fun and explosive final episode. 9/10!
I have to say, whoever the dark-haired guy is just seems like the show ruined his holiday, and he's just pissed to have to spend time doing this. Personally, for what the show was, I enjoyed it. I'm happy Coy was here to give some depth.
@ConnorVide he def is allowed to not like it. It was just the vibe for me. Coy also didn't like it, but it felt like a balanced opinion with some highlights and lowlights. This episode was spectacular. Talk about going all out with DBZ style battle with the new Guardians becoming watchers taking on the Watcher's council. Then having phase 1 moments from Avengers: Endgame to Marvel's Avengers with Margaret Peggy Carter as well as X-Men: TAS and 97 moment with Storm is just incredible. Then having Doctor Strange's theme juxtaposed into the conflict made this episode even more special.
Those bubble dots Coy referred to are an homage to the Kirby Krackle art style that Jack Kirby used to show power. But yes the spider-verse movies referenced it as well.
what an incredibly insane fight scene. absolutely loved it when the two other watchers ran away from storm in fear. i guess im gonna have to forgive marvel for ending the series after only 3 seasons
@@Time00194Time He's more so referring to Peggy there. It wouldn't make sense for him to say "since HER SACRIFICE, for the first time in all time, I feel like someone is watching over me", and not be referring to Peggy. Plus, the whole Loki becoming the god of stories stuff happened even before season 2 of What If, as evidenced by the multiversal tree showing up in the season 2 finale of What If, so if anything, if Loki WAS watching Uatu, then Uatu would've felt him doing so already, or better yet, Loki would've done something to help him when the other Watchers were about to kill him (assuming he can do anything other than sit in that chair).
this was a full circle moment for uatu and Peggy from season 1 to season 3 . hopefully they can transition this relationship to the big screen in the next few avenger movies but who knows. crazy how uatu was literally our main character this whole series , can't wait to see bald Jeffrey wright in the mcu
Greg knows this. Coy and him pointed this out years ago in season 1 and 2. He just said spider verse knew as a new observation bc yes spierdverse does have kirby dots/bubbles too
I really, really liked Coy’s speech and all deductions, because experience the things is what gives the life meaning versus watching and experience nothing just watching and learning nothing, because you think you know everything, but even Uatu didn’t know everything. So there is always something new to learn and experience.
I enjoyed the two-part finale, but not in a "OMG this is amazing", more of a "That was a well done ending". I think my overall problem with this season was that it didn't seem to have much stakes throughout the show. And I mean it in an episode-to-episode basis. For example, I felt like the stakes in Kahhori's first solo episode felt grand, but the stakes in one of these singular episodes didn't feel grand. Even though I enjoyed episode one's 70s Japan homages, I didn't fully connect with the threat of the gamma monsters. A majority of these stories didn't interest me either. I still wish, besides the Darcy/Howard episode, we would've gotten a out of left field episode. That's what makes the comic interesting to me.
It was a bunch of eye candy, and some of the sugary bits tasted great for a little bit, but ultimately, after the sugar high wore off, I was still hungry and felt unfulfilled.
The fight sequence was off.the.chain. Holy schnikes! I was bummed when they announced this was the final season, but most of the episodes this year no longer had me bummed as they just weren't very good. These last 2 episodes were fantastic, and the glimpse at other What If characters...now I want to see some seasons with THOSE characters. Ugh! Anyway, thanks for sharing!
This show the past 2 seasons has been a super Xmas present!! The prominence in the pantheon of Marvel projects isn’t so important, but for fun throw-away new MCU content? Totally enjoyable.
What If… The Watcher Disappeared? felt like Avengers Infinity War and What If… What If? felt like Avengers Endgame. Hayley Atwell is going to be in Avengers Doomsday, so maybe we learn what actually happened after Captain Carter sacraficed herself.
OMG I just watched it!!! wow...I need someone to slow down the images of our team to see the different versions. Saw some amazing ones with peggy. Need to see it all!!!!!
13:00 - I feel like this entire combat could be cut and paste into a cut scene of a Marvel version of an "Injustice" style video game, skins, variants, bosses, everything. This could just as much be a video game advertisement...and I'm totally here for it.
That Avengers: Endgame moment with Captain Carter similar to Steve Rogers wielding Thor's hammer with a series of attacks against Thanos using his Shield as a battering ram.
My friend Dency pointed something out to me: Captain Carter has grey hair in this one. Not completely grey, but partially. Super soldiers don't age quickly, just look at Steve Rogers. She must've been doing this for a long time. It's possible that everyone else that Carter cares about, she simply outlived.
+Marveladdict77777 Same here. However, unfortunately, doing that means more money spent on animation resources that aren't gonna drive Disney Plus subscription viewership.
The only things that I'm sad about is that it's over and that Peggy didn't get a happy ending with her Steve. I think we can assume that he really DID die in the end and she found that out because I have no doubt that Peggy would've still been searching for him if there was even a chance that Steve was still out there.
Agreed. No-serum Steve and Peggy deserve their happy ending, too. I hope in the upcoming live-action multiverse movies, they get that happy ending, just as main timeline Steggy did.
I hope we get Kahhori back in some form, like an original animated series about how she literally changes the course of history by protecting and advancing her country. Imagine a Native American version of Wakanda, with Kahhori as its nearly immortal guardian.
Not for Me . Season 1 and season 3 were both really good for me. I didn't like season 2 because carter was getting too much attention. I didn't even watch the season 2 finale after finding out that carter was going to defeat supreme strange. They could have gone for another 2 or 3 seasons
Man them showing all those other variants kinda shoots itself in the foot because now everyone gonna be like “we got this episode when we COULDVE had THAT episode”
What's wrong with you guys? Are you exceptional artists who see it as fair to be critical and condescending of everything? Okay, you are not enjoying these stories since they aren't all connected. What's wrong with that? You don't have to comment on everything, you know?
Man I wish this did anything for me. Just a whole episode of smashing action figures together with zero stakes because they’re all damn invincible. How was the Howard the Duck and Darcy episode the highlight of this season?
No kidding 😂 honestly I’d rather rewatch madam web hahaha, im convinced they asked make-a-wish kids what they wanted to see, and then made zero changes… british woman with synthetic serum= more power than a goddess with a gods hammer…..
@@simplebull210 I …can agree with you on that cuz how was it she was the one with enough willpower over Storm exactly?? but even if Storm was the main lead he @theponderer would still not like it.
But this episode had no opening credits. I assume because Uatu does the opening narration bit at the end here, so they figured it would be redundant to have the same narration twice in one episode.
Oh good. Another fight between vaguely, but infinitely powered immortal characters who can't actually hurt each other. And screw "connected beams" in a fight. Screw them forever in every universe

Majority Humans see everything with humanly emotions, FOOLS. Although it's just a stupid show, which made just for entertainment, but 13:35 THESE GUYS ARE NOT CRUEL, they were doing their duties, they did not kill anyone.
My favorite part is Gregg and Coy’s slow decent into madness from the first episode to the last.
The vast marvel characters in every universe to end the series says it went on a high note.
I love your reactions to this video ❤ and how you explained it is enlightening
OMG IM EARLY WTF ! THIS SERIES WAS WILD 😮 THANK YOU MARVEL!!
I love that a headbutt from two Watchers has the force to destroy planets. Canon.
Coy, those “bubbles” are The Kirby Crackle, you should know that 😉
I'm not a huge comic nerd but even I knew that 😄
this was genuinely embarrassing. "into the spiderverse-esque." good lord.
Well done. It all came together. Had to rewatch the ending a couple of times.
I think Coy means Lucius Malfoy not Severus Snape because Alan Rickman happens to be dead :)
Was really hoping we would see God of Stories Loki.
Me too ✋️
This show the past 2 seasons has been a super Xmas present!! The prominence in the pantheon of Marvel projects isn’t so important, but for fun throw-away new MCU content? Totally enjoyable.
The end is here... time to see if it's a "Man I wish that it didn't end" or a "Thank god that's over"
We want more 🤩🥳
What If… The Watcher Disappeared? felt like Avengers Infinity War and What If… What If? felt like Avengers Endgame. Hayley Atwell is going to be in Avengers Doomsday, so maybe we learn what actually happened after Captain Carter sacraficed herself.
Or it's just another variant of her
I SCREAMED when Madisynn King was mentioned. I miss her so much 😭
I think that's why those 3 watchers (the eminence) are on the moon with stan lee
OMG I just watched it!!! wow...I need someone to slow down the images of our team to see the different versions. Saw some amazing ones with peggy. Need to see it all!!!!!
Greg cant help himself but to make a comment after every line in the show
+bookem5537
Ok?
What if was truly a show that exists
Coy's brain is clearly holiday mush because he can't spot obvious Kirby references.
Holy shlitttt this episode was pure magic!!!
They want her to become steve so badly
My friend Dency pointed something out to me: Captain Carter has grey hair in this one. Not completely grey, but partially. Super soldiers don't age quickly, just look at Steve Rogers. She must've been doing this for a long time. It's possible that everyone else that Carter cares about, she simply outlived.
I wish they can make more seasons
+Marveladdict77777
Same here.
However, unfortunately, doing that means more money spent on animation resources that aren't gonna drive Disney Plus subscription viewership.
It still says Season finale not Series finale so maybe they greenlit more and are waiting to announce it
They have been saying Final Season for a bit now
The only things that I'm sad about is that it's over and that Peggy didn't get a happy ending with her Steve.
What if your wrong about me?
Me: what…. If?
I hope we get Kahhori back in some form, like an original animated series about how she literally changes the course of history by protecting and advancing her country. Imagine a Native American version of Wakanda, with Kahhori as its nearly immortal guardian.
Tbh I'm kinda happy it's over
I like what if tho
in a good way ?
Before s3 beginning I was sad, now I'm relieved after watching such horrible and lazy writing
me too.. i was so tired.
Not for Me . Season 1 and season 3 were both really good for me. I didn't like season 2 because carter was getting too much attention. I didn't even watch the season 2 finale after finding out that carter was going to defeat supreme strange. They could have gone for another 2 or 3 seasons
Yes, it is Natasha Lyonne. The Eminence is voiced by Jason Isaacs.
Man them showing all those other variants kinda shoots itself in the foot because now everyone gonna be like “we got this episode when we COULDVE had THAT episode”
Something to note: the Watchers never mentioned his interference regarding Infinity Ultron so presumably they recognized that that one was justified
I waited for loki watching everything from the eggdrasil till the end of the credits
They were literally getting wiped out of existence….did you watch the episode?
No kidding 😂 honestly I’d rather rewatch madam web hahaha, im convinced they asked make-a-wish kids what they wanted to see, and then made zero changes… british woman with synthetic serum= more power than a goddess with a gods hammer…..
@@StormTheeOmegaoh really?
@@simplebull210 I …can agree with you on that cuz how was it she was the one with enough willpower over Storm exactly?? but even if Storm was the main lead he @theponderer would still not like it.
@@leoc1164 yea when the watchers joined as one they were trying to wipe out them and every version of them in the multiverse out of existence.
"These bubbles are a little across the spiderversey"...Coy name drops Jack Kirby repeatedly so i think its time we introduce him to Kirby crackles
Me was a watcher: wait so this is just one big ass reaction channel?
By far the best animation this show has done. Rough season, but I really enjoyed this ending.
Really good way to end what if show overall
"What's the point of watching?" says Greg, of the Reel Rejects reaction channel.
+bludreem121
He's referring to The Watcher.
Watch before speaking.
@thealjohnsonshow2188 that's a big ol whoosh.
This was actually a dope ass finale I keep geeking out that storm is actually here my god
Watcher: "This is so much, how could anyone take it all in"
Blind people: 💀
If one does not skip the intro with the names of the actors in the episode, one would not wonder if Lyonne is Birdie.
But this episode had no opening credits. I assume because Uatu does the opening narration bit at the end here, so they figured it would be redundant to have the same narration twice in one episode.
@@pepperidgefarm1003 The previous one had all the info.
Somewhere, out there, there is a Peggy Carter ready to take up the mantle of her predecessor.
Not as good as season 1 and 2 but still fun to watch
+Rob94xo
Agreed
Oh good. Another fight between vaguely, but infinitely powered immortal characters who can't actually hurt each other.
And screw "connected beams" in a fight. Screw them forever in every universe
Honestly I don't like these finales where the power scaling just gets ridiculous. I like the simple concept of alternate universes and fun stories! I have no idea what's happening in these finales and when everything is over the top powerful, nothing is. I don't know, I just like the simplicity of the basic episodes...😅
Same, i like the individualistic episodes more where it does not need to connect to the grand story. Like the Shang Chi and Hawkeye episode, and the Tony Stark In Sakaar episodes.
Yeah, if there is a Hierarchy then it's there bcoz it has some purpose.
Even characters like Carter, who are nothing, are matching with WATCHERS.... almost GODS, what a stupid finale, Humans are like.....we can do anything. Majority Humans see everything with humanly emotions, FOOLS.
Although it's just a stupid show, which made just for entertainment, but 13:35 THESE GUYS ARE NOT CRUEL, they were doing their duties, they did not kill anyone. Uatu is a fool and so are his fellow stupid fools.
Those three watchers should have killed them the moment they saw these fools. Why wait to finish your job, why wait to punish the criminals.
If theres not a season 4 ill cry
You take power of a celestial or just casually take an oath and become a watcher.
wtf 😅
I was thinking in blackest night but that the wrong oath
Coy! i felt like i sat through ur lecture if What If u became a college professor.
20:26 why i watch with you guys
