This version of Super Glanti is amazing for this different style (compared to what I'm used to) In aggressive opening it behaves like a short pips! Very interesting ;)
This is pretty much as I expected . I wonder if the top sheet is the same as SG . From the name it should be but you had good success in giving direction as with SG regular version it was not consistent . The fast version is good pretty much plays like yasaka antipower. I would love to see how you handle very fast deep power loops . I think that’s most likely the con of this setup . Also surprised that it seems like the blade also high throw instead of low. I appreciate you testing this one :)
@@markusmaier2325 interesting ... I wonder why they go with the same topsheet if the players main game will be to hit . I guess with this sponge it s easier to give direction than the original
@@rakishman1313 For sure its the same topsheet otherwise they couldn't "develope" new rubbers that fast. If you change the sponge it is easier to hit but you loose spin reversal and the balls are going high and long. The same phanomenon like I had it with Sauer and Tröger Super Stop. If you block in my league in that way they just going to smash you away no mater what spin it has. And the guy who is playing with Andrea plays very friendly😊 It looks amazingly good, but unfortunatly it is no option. So I am afraid we have to practice with Anti or Long Pimples that are harder to hit. Needs a very good technic but it is possible.
I think this version of SG works best for players at a lower level since it's impossibile to achieve high spin reversal with any antispin against players that don't give quality to the ball. With this SG you can mix your game with blocks (the short ones are obviously harder to do) and unexpected offensive strokes. One more thing: this rubber works perfectly on def/slow blades. This is a factor not to be neglected since many of you don't use off/carbon blades.
@@AndreaAschi The main problem will be if you play like me in between those levels (from 1100 to 1700 RC in Austria) There is always a mixture of lower leveled players (mostly older ones that play very clever and not that offensiv anymore) and high leveled ones (mostly younger and they hit topspins like crazy) If you play against the first ones with a fast blade and a slow Anti like you do - and you can't twiddle - than they play backspin to your backhand all day long, because you can't hit really serious. And as soon you make the slightest mistake or hit to soft they have their one shot where they got you. If you play against the second type and you have a slow blade and this Super Glanti attack in the video I guess its impossible to block hard topspin close to the table. Right know I win rather against high leveled players with my long pimples, a good offensive forehand and a slow blade and I loose often against the older guys. The question is can I solve the problem rather with a slow blade and this Anti or - like I have in mind - for instance with a Dr. Neubauer Matador with Super Glanti 0.8 and a lets say tenergy or a bluestorm on forehand. The question is, if this equipment can do everything 😁 -fast forehand, short and spinny blocks and offensiv potential like the Super Anti Attack. Or even better somebody gives me 500 Euro where I can just try it🤣
Hello, dear Andrea! Maybe your can tell the difference between super glanti and barna original anti? Now playing with butterfly super anti on butterfly ulc off rubber and want more options in atack. What do you think, how its will be?) thank you 🙏
Hi Timur! I never tested Barna original anti so I can't make a comparison between the two. Barna original is a classic anti so it is similar to the super anti you use. Super Glanti is a frictionless anti with a hard surface. This means it should be used close to the table. It is definitely a better option if you are looking for a rubber that allows you to play more aggressively. You will lose something in terms of control and versatility but it disrupts a lot more than any classic anti.
This is the dream of every player who uses material. Extrem fast backspin strokes, long distance defensiv playing possible and enormous offensiv options. But I think what the video doesn't show is that it is Not possible to change the rhythmn or play extremly short strokes like you did it with ABS. All the blocks are extremly long. And I think they are just on the table because you just had to block slow topspins.
@@markusmaier2325 Sure you can. But if you use an anti that is fast like this one it is hard. Because the blocks are all getting to long. Otherwise it should be possible for example to put a long pimple ox rubber on a fast blad, but unfortunatly it is unplayable.
Hi Asrul! I found it to be a good rubber. Very good control, slightly sticky topsheet so easy to impart a lot of spin to the ball. At the power level, however, less performing than factory-tuned rubbers like the Bluestorm.
Hello Andrea. It seems good choice for attacking if the opponent is passive. I attack a lot with backhand anti, but if my opponent is agressive i step back and chop far away or in a mid-distance from the table. Is this anti also good for chopping? Thank you
Hi Csaba! This rubber works well (like any other frictionless) close to the table. I don't recommend it if your play style often involves defense far from the table.
Hi andrea! I have a 1 question to you, about the anti. You are the owner of Dr neubauer A.B.S and some Der materialspezialist anti's as well, and my question is about, what's the difference between those, and (in your opinion) which brand makes better anti's Neubauer or der material? Let me know, your opinion, about that !
Hello! That's a fast blade so I would recommend something like Spinlab Vortex 2 with red or pink sponge. This is my opinion I give you based on my preferences, there is no one anti better than the others.
Hello Andrea! I am considering trying either SG Attack or DMS Spinparasite in 1.0 or 1.5mm on my slow oversized balsa blade, Dr N Barricade Def. Both flantis have the same speed rating on the DMS website…do you think one is better than the other for this blade?
Hello my friend! The choice depends on your personal preferences. SG Attack is better for aggressive shots, less good in passive block. Spinparasite has better spinreversal, more difficult to use it aggressively.
Do the Antispin rubbers working better that long pimples with the new ball 4.0mm?. Maybe it's time to migrate to antispin for long pimples player ... Regards from Chile.
The transition from long pimples to frictionless anti is not as easy as you might think. A lot of ball control is missing and you have to learn other angles. I've been playing with long pimples for a long time and have never been able to play successfull with frictionless anti. Maybe you can do it...
Hi Leo! Malib Tek gave you a great answer! Since i have no experience with long pimples I reccomend you to try. There are a lot of different antispin, choose the one that fits your style. ;)
I have tried the super glanti rubber on a slow blade but my partners were unable to generate heavy underspin when blockimg my topspin. Is it because the wood is slow too? Maybe it should have been placed on a faster blade? Or is it something that we just don’t know how to do?
Hi! Blade greatly affects the spinreversal. I don't know which type of blade (def/all/off) works best with the classic SUPER GLANTI version. In general, the faster/stiffer the better! Technique and timing on the ball are also important factors.
Ciao Andrea.

Ciao Lucio! É un all-, quindi lento (magari é colpa mia che sono abituato a giocare con un off+). Si combina bene con una anti veloce come quella del video, altrimenti difficile da controllare.
Much better than previous combinations 👍
It’s that one kind of a rubber along with Spinparasite Special Guido did a very good job 😁

Andrea, I see it attacks very well, but how's the reversal on blocking compared to other antis?
Super Glanti has an amazing reversal. It requires a different technique compared to mine so I didn't use it at its full potential in passive blocks.
