  • Some tips for attacking back spin with frictionless anti. This is the 2nd in a series of videos about playing with frictionless anti.
    The blocker is Marcus "Magoo" Johansson, who 2021 plays in 2nd highest league in Sweden. The last couple of years he has beaten players like Pär Gerell and Satoshi Aida. Here he alters between the two blades Winner and Victory from Barna Original. He uses Barna Original Super Glanti in 0.8 mm on both blades.
    The attacking player is Simon Liljegren.
    Filming and editing is made by Joachim "Def-attack" Karlgren.

    Thanks Joachim! This is a must-watch video for any frictionless anti-player, very useful. Marcus is so good at doing it!

    Many thanks Joachim and mister Magoo.
    Would love to see more videos like these from the Superglanti master.
    Would also enjoy a video on how to maintain the inversion power of Superglanti over time.

    Great video! Does Super Glanti gets a bit sticky during humid weather? I have a couple of frictionless anti from the other brand and they tend become sticky when it's humid.

      Thanks!
      Well, I live in Sweden, and here we rarely have trouvles with that kind of humidity in the air... sorry, can't tell.

    Hi joachim, as we know that there are 3 types of super glanti (black edition, attack, and soft) ... would you please tell me which one that Marcus used?
    Regards

    Thank you for the video! But I have a question; I have an antispin barna original super glanty 1.6mm. Is this a good tire for protection and rotation reversal?

      @JoachimKarlgren  3 месяца назад +1

      Yes it is good. You need to keep the antin clean (use DMS spray) and you need a blade that is good for that kind of blocks. Then work on technique. Good luck!

    what this blade??

    It wasn't helpful for the guy in blue to hit ALL of his attacks into the net. No one would continue to do that. What strokes would you use when the attack made it over the net?

      It illustrates a drill, not a match situation. But another attack will be blocked with anti or FH side or countered with FH.

    I thought frictionless anything was illegal. Or is it just frictionless long pimples?

    • @3dprintworld503
      @3dprintworld503 5 месяцев назад

      Anti isn't illegal. Also, it wouldn't make sense to make it illegal anyways, it's easy to train against.

      @@rudycramer225 Ohh, you're right. Anti spin rubber is allowed but frictionless isn't apparently. Not sure what the difference is too much tho. I think frictionless produce knuckleballs which are almost impossible to deal with while anti only reverses the spin. not sure tho.

      These frictionless antis are ITTF approved.

      There are rules on how much friction pimple out rubber must have but there are no such rules for smooth rubbers, like anti. Howeverer, there are rules concerning glossiness and what kind of material is allowed as top sheet rubbers.
