A little rain always makes excavations more fun. I spent my time standing in a ditch with the rain coming down miserably, I enjoyed everyday though. That’s why being retired I watch your channel
Doing the driveways after the owners have bought as part of the land deal is working out well for you, giving you a good introduction to the new owners and chance for them to see your work, leading to lots more work !
Even in the rain you make it look easy. Glad you ran into your friend and now you have more work. Thanks Chris. Making another piece of property more beautiful.
Another happy property owner gets himself the best man he could get to build the driveway on his new lot. Then hires Chris to do more, including a clearing and pond rebuild we will get to enjoy watching.
Once you get on a job, the customers don't want you to leave! That's due to the awesome work you do. Nice driveway, btw. A quality road that will withstand trucks & traffic. Thanks for sharing, Chris.
Just when you did not need tropical storm rainfall. Yep - weatherman was wrong again and still kept his job. Glad to hear you still have job security and extra projects.
Just gotta do what you gotta do when you can do it - rain has a habit of making work more challenging than planned. Given the amount of rain the overall success of this job was very good.
Chris I have to commend you on the way you value other peoples items. Love how you moved the agents for sale sign, and then straightened it up. Class act for sure!
You just thought you were done with the 90 aches lots. I'm glad you got more work on the books. At least you had time for the drive before you left the property.
Another day... more rain... Maybe some of the pond work you've done lately can get filled up. Either way, looks like boating is more in the cards. (except at Geoff's.. his boat only seems to sink.)
That’s a pretty nice driveway rough in install with the Yanmar, it’s a sweet little and versatile machine. Your drive finish out looks great, thanks for the update, always enjoy watching a good driveway install.
Another fine job. I heard you guys got a pile of rain down there even from up here in Canada. Good job. I don't listen to other people. I get up in the morning. Open my blind up. Look out the window and take it from there. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
When you bloow that hose on Betty the other day I was thinking that as many equipment that you own you should have a hose fitting press and a roll of hose on your truck it would probably be a hell of a lot cheaper when you need to replace a hidrolic hose 😊😊😊
Red clay, it can be harder that concrete, add one drop of water, boom!, and you have got some of the nastiest mud ever conceived. Kudos for sticking with it until you got it covered up. Stay safe!
Chris I reckon for the house that you are building on the farm you should put turf down and then you can run a Scott’s bonner mower over it which will make the grass look like a golf course
Chris, by this Driveway install have You work with so great Accuracy how You always Work. The other People must by this Work have a Laser Tool that the have a great Line. You can this all without. Thanks for this Video from Your Know. 👍👌
He Gone !! lololol... Man, Ain't nothing worse , than trying to fight the rain, and mud an shit , when your trying to get something done and the damn weather man says, " going to be clear all week folks" !! Then, ya get those showers that dump 2-3-4 in. of freaking rain in 15 min. on ya !! Messes up ya whole system, don't it Chris !! Well, good thing did come out of it, you got some more work out of the deal there !! lolol... Always a good thing... Great as Always Chris, Have a Great Evening Man, And , On too the Next !!
That's the situation where it comes in handy to have a power broom for the skid steer or trimmer attachment to clean that mess off the road real quick. 🙂🇦🇺👍
I find it crazy that Whitetail Properties has expanded all the way to North Carolina! I remember when they first started in Illinois. Now theyre selling properties all across the US!
I saw a video of a big trenches that was digging about 8 feet deepin that stuff. They had about a 3 foot wide belt that was covered in carbide teeth. Still really slow progress.
Just thinking out of the box a bit - wonder why bucket makers don't make U shaped buckets so you can walk along the road and scoop out the water cut. One could easily clean that way.
Kinda funny seeing the old "For Sale" sign with the realtors name on it. "Whitetail Properties". I guess to you guys, Whitetail is a type of deer, hence the logo but here it's a particularly nasty type of spider that's made it's way over from Aussie!
You know how you can get a song stuck in your head that won’t go away? Well, for awhile now, while watching your vids, I’ve got the theme song to Rawhide playing in my head. Only I’ve changed the lyrics from moving cattle to moving dirt 🙄
If you were doing this in NZ you would need a traffic control plan and end up with one lane closed and a lollipop person at each end and some 80 orange cones to protect the crew and you from the vehicles on the road. Two traffic control trucks with men in them at each end watching their phones.
Im so happy that my state has,in places,7 to 8 feet of pure black top soil. It seems that neck of the woods has an inch,if that.Did.people ever spread cow manure on the fields at all??

Nice to see! People already starting building on their land.
👍 The show must go on. Imagine working in Ireland, it would be like this 90% of the time.
Yes 90% of the time exactly.
You always do such a good job building driveways. The conditions weren’t ideal but once the driveway has time to dry out it will be good.
Chris I was watching some of your videos from 2009 the other day I can say one thing for sure you have come a long ways!!!! Happy digging!!!
Just when you did not need tropical storm rainfall. Yep - weatherman was wrong again and still kept his job. Glad to hear you still have job security and extra projects.
I love watching how you work. Excellent focus and attention to detail. Keep’’em coming Chris.
You are a professional putting in driveways . You have done so many .
the little piece of turf that always landed grass up - the end.
Just gotta do what you gotta do when you can do it - rain has a habit of making work more challenging than planned. Given the amount of rain the overall success of this job was very good.

I love the little bucket flip at the end of a forward run.. you are an amazing operater..
Why are these drive way install videos so satisfying?😊😊
🎶 rollin rollin rollin.. 🎶

even in the rain, your jobs turn out beautiful... your front lawn is loving the rain!
Very nice job with the driveway pipe installation and the aggregate spreading!
You just thought you were done with the 90 aches lots. I'm glad you got more work on the books. At least you had time for the drive before you left the property.
Great video bro and getting extra work on that piece of land from your friend is a bonus. Safe travels. Ken.

Nice quick job . Looks great

Nasty weather you had, I hope the road holds up. Thank you and have a great week.
Red clay, it can be harder that concrete, add one drop of water, boom!, and you have got some of the nastiest mud ever conceived. Kudos for sticking with it until you got it covered up. Stay safe!

Big Boys and Their Toys. I've watched a lot of Chris's videos and I'm impressed with the time and effort you put in the make it prefect.

Loved the video. Thanks for letting me ride along.
Turned out nice Chris
Another great looking driveway.
If you pop the drone up, show us the pond you built on the other lot. Wonder if its full with all that rain you've been getting there 😆
You cant do that without the homeowners permission! It’s called trespassing, even from the air!
He Gone !! lololol... I find it crazy that Whitetail Properties has expanded all the way to North Carolina! I remember when they first started in Illinois. Now theyre selling properties all across the US!
89 acres... man that would be SO nice having all that space :)

Nice video Chris.
Hello again. Love your videos and as always keep up the great work!
Great video!! Why no road base fabric??
Smooth operator!
👍
Here in Arizona....when you dig down about 3 feet we hit CALEECHIE, that's like trying to dig up a concrete highway!
I saw a video of a big trenches that was digging about 8 feet deepin that stuff. They had about a 3 foot wide belt that was covered in carbide teeth. Still really slow progress.
Hey Chris would love to see the new 220 with the dig assist to dig the basement
It's hard not to use pretty, red dirt! :D
That little excavator sounds like a kid on a amusement park ride.
Just thinking out of the box a bit - wonder why bucket makers don't make U shaped buckets so you can walk along the road and scoop out the water cut. One could easily clean that way.
man ur stick handling abilities are great..if you played hockey ur name would be gretsky...

Good morning everyone I hope you all enjoy your day we have rain here today again ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thankfully it missed the Lower Mainland this morning of BC this morning. Sun is shining and 17 degrees Celsius. :)
24 degrees Celsius in belfast the last 3 days ,seems summer is starting in September this year 😂😂
You know how you can get a song stuck in your head that won’t go away? Well, for awhile now, while watching your vids, I’ve got the theme song to Rawhide playing in my head. Only I’ve changed the lyrics from moving cattle to moving dirt 🙄
Has your earth moving process changed due to camera angles? Like, if you had a mowing channel, you would do smaller sections to stay in frame.
If you were doing this in NZ you would need a traffic control plan and end up with one lane closed and a lollipop person at each end and some 80 orange cones to protect the crew and you from the vehicles on the road. Two traffic control trucks with men in them at each end watching their phones.
Do you know what's orange and sleeps three? A county pickup.
Same bullshit in Oz…oops, sorry, health and safety,
Have to do what you can between storms, looks like another great project.😊😊😊😊
❤
LetsDig18!

Great job 👍🏻 1:26 love how you scraped the road 2:42 love how the dried up mud fell out of the bucket
You have job security in that area. Rain rain go away!
Don’t worry about that sign, I’m sure they’ll bill it to Jeff.
🙂
10 K views in one hour... That's impressive
Like the video but not moder nature , to much rain .
What's the price on acreage around that area?
One of these days the Yanmar people needs to start treating you to stuff like the Volvo folks.
We in spring here but still having winter weather 😂😂😢😢
