Great analysis as always DownTown. I think Joe has what it takes and it’s a good bet, especially by looking at how he was injured each time (ex. not just aggregating a groin injury every 2 months). I think the primary focus will be on re-vamping the D infront!
Could you please provide a video on Leaf prospects? Will Cade Weber play for the Leafs? How many games? Will he be effective? Similarly for Ryan Tverberg, Nicholas Matinen, Noah Chadwick, Easton Cowan. Could Bobby Mcmann be the third line centre?
For what it's worth... I like your delivery and how you present material - pacing is good and you clearly do your homework. To do animated takes - you have to have a special delivery to make it work (Aka Steve Dangle) if it doesn't work it looks fake and phony (Sid Seixeiro - just my opinion). My only comment on your content (and again simply my POV) is your use of 'guys' when referencing your audience. As a female who's grown up loving, playing and consuming hockey as much as and in some cases than my male friends. I've always preferred when content creators avoid calling their audience 'guys' (thank you all, or simply that's it for this one). Take it or leave it, I am not offended by it and I know it's not likely to exclude the 'girls', and will absolutely still watch your great content.
When I first heard this rumor. I think I was like everyone else. Thats too much for a guy that has only played 40 games. I agree, to get these sweetheart deals you have to look forward... something dubas didnt do with matthews marner and nylander.. wouldnt it be nice if those guys were still at their last contracts numbers for another 3 years?? To me if its 4M the Leafs arnt gettng a long enough deal at 3 years. it needs to be 4 years, I would be very comfortable if the contract was 3.5Mx4 years That to me would be a contract either way could be looked at as a decent contract as long as he puts up average numbers.
To me this focus on Joseph Woll right now.... Means something I believe deeper then were all looking at. And I think theres a method to Trelivings madness onto why he would want to sgn him right now and not get the bigger guys done first like Marner/Domi/Bertuzzi etc. I think Treliving is thinking ok Joe knowsour defence right now. Were not the best... So hes more likely to sign for a little less and sign sooner. However if Treliving goes out in Free Agency and gets Tanev and Pesce and SIGNIFICANTLY upgrades the defence infront of Woll he may say... I kinda wanna play out this 700k contract infront of these monster defenders and just see where im at after the season. In which case he may win 30+ games. He may have .920+ , He may have 2.40 ... In which case that number jjust jumped to 5 mil PLUS for Woll. I think this says Treliving is going to significantly upgrade this defence. Probably with 2 guys... P.S good to see you back DTSB. Hopefully you find the time to keep going because you definitely put the most effort into your videos and make the most sense... Theres people like you know who that just say stuff to fit their narritives when its not backed by facts at all...lol .
The Leafs don't need to re-sign Woll so quickly, but if they choose to do so, I still think $3.5-4mil is too high. Sure he has potential, but he just hasn't proven that he can play more than a third of a season in the NHL, let alone play well in those games. I would prefer the Leafs let him play out the year as the team's #1, and then reward him after the season with a long-term deal if he plays well and proves that he can stay healthy.

I think it's good because we know how good he can be if stays healthy thus year he would probably become a 5-6 million $goalie
