- living alone in seoul ep.31 - living in korea (as a foreigner) means you have to learn korean to function in this country. this vlog captures me using the korean that I know to call dental and scalp clinics to make appointments. this vlog also shows what it realistically looks like for a foreigner who isn't fluent in korean to go to clinics. there's a bit of a language barrier of course but I tried my best! sometimes I understand them and sometimes I don't - but we make it work!
I also finally pull the trigger on starting my scalp treatments which are meant to stimulate hair growth and restore scalp health.

Thoroughly enjoyed this! love the smaller details such as showing the phone call and the actual conversation with the doctor as a foreigner its really helpful to see! Hope to see more from you :)
Yay I’m so glad to hear that bc that is my goal! To document and show what life in seoul as a foreigner could be like 😇 thank you for your support 💕
@@DeliaX Of course! I will be using this as a helpful guide very soon after my move to seoul :)
Hahaha you finally went! Hope you see some progress ❤️
Yes!!! Me too 🥺💕
It's really something to go to a foreign country to stay! I should also take more time to learn Korean 😆 will be heading there for vacation! Thanks for sharing, much love from Singapore 💕
Aw thank you 😊 enjoy your vacation to Korea when you come!!
would love to see an update and progress of your scalp treatment!
Yes I shall keep y’all updated!!! 👀
Your phone aegyo is EPIC!!!!!!!!! a+++
Ohmygosh yes didn’t realize until I was editing. It really comes out 😅😖
@@DeliaX don't worry, you have the good kind of aegyo. 👍
This is so amazing!! It's my dream to move to Korea in the future, I plan to spend at least three more years studying Korean before I move but I may spend longer, I want to be able to study university level in Korea instead of the UK, where I'm from. And it's so amazing to see someone using the Korean they learned in Korea, really living there and being able to survive with the hard work they put in reminds me that it's an achievable goal and as long as I continue to work hard I will be able to do what you've done! I did have a question though, how do you live currently? Are you a student or do you work?
aw I love your ambition and goals! amazing that you've set that for yourself - you will do amazing in achieving them 😇 thank you for your kind words! I currently have a full time job here in korea
waiting for the sport mode crocs to make it in
HAHAHA maybe 5 videos from now
hi dearest thanks for sharing, i also want to vist a scalp clinic in seoul, how was at the end your experience?. was it worth it? i will really appreciate your feedback 😘😘
I went to dr scalp! The cheongdam location. I think scalp treatments are a long term up keep 🥺 kinda like taking care of your skin every day. For me I didn’t see it change my hair loss. It was to just keep my scalp healthy and when I stopped going, my scalp went unhealthy again
Which clinic did you go to?
I go to dr scalp!
@@DeliaX thank you!! where is it located?? Have you noticed a difference?
