same, english is not my first language either AND I'm struggling through this pattern. 😅 but I'm glad my video could help you.
At the moment I am on the "right side of collar", I just can't find time to work on it and with a pattern like this it's important to take your time.
So, I don't know if I can help you with that. Sorry 😞

One day I will finish this shirt and so will you, you just have to be patient with it, sometimes I have to read a sentence or a whole sequence over and over again before I get it. It is a very well written pattern, but it is also a lot.
I think when the collar part is done it will be easy peasy lemon squeezy. 😅
