I really appreciate how when you’re talking about a garment you keep the picture of that garment on the screen for the entire length of the segment. I need that much time to visually look at and evaluate the tea as you’re talking about its benefits and your thoughts on its construction.
I don't know what possessed me to click on this, curiosity, I guess. But, I'm glad that I did. I used to knit 20 years ago, with Covid, like so may others, I got back into fiber arts, this time in crochet. I was intrigued with the hundreds of stitches available and dug right into useful household items, to include making 10 blankets last year, making unique designs for each family member. As I finished them, I wandered into garments and have made myself a few sweaters, customized for a good fit, They're great, but for a professional office look, there's really no comparison to the polished look we can achieve with knitting...so, off I go to purchase the tools I need to practice my techniques. More than one of the designs you've shown today will be on my needles once I've reached proficiency again. Thanks for the great inspiration!
Thanks, Emma. I enjoyed your round up. It was rather refreshing to see a number of patterns that are from designers other than those on the hot now leaderboard.
THANK YOU! I'm in central Texas where it's already hot and humid. I'm really looking forward to knitting some tees in linen, cotton, and bamboo blends.
Fun countdown of tees. Not sure how I found you, but I like your presentation style. Really nice and to the point. I'll look forward to seeing more of your videos! Thanks.
What a great list! I love that they are basic tees from lesser known designers. I enjoy finding hidden gems. I cast on the Plain Yoke Tee DK last week. It is a lovely, well-written pattern. Oh, and I love your Anker's!
Very nice presentation, thank you for that! I am most comfortable knitting using size 6 or 7 mm needles but I am planning to expand my horizons and try something on thinner needles. By the way, the nicest garment out of all is the one you are wearing yourself, followed by the Le Havre. Cheers!
I loved your choices. This was my first time watching your podcast. ❤I was happy to see the designer Cleome Smith on your list. She is so underrated but her patterns have multiple gauges so I find them very economical. ❤
wow! I found your video accidentally and I am so so happy about it! What a great video, wonderful content - just what I was looking for!! - almost all designers were new to me. I thoroughly enjoyed your "no frills" presentation style, very much to the point, informative, cohesive, ... Oh, so pleasantly different from all the mainstream vlogging! - I am looking forward to binge watching the rest of your videos. Thank you so much for your efforts. Please let me know how to best support you 🤩 Lots of love from Munich
my current knit is the ozetta moon set tee, it's a lot of straight stockinette but it's soooo beautiful. i appreciate this video, i'm always looking for more tees because it's a knit i always know i'll wear!!!
I agree, great job!! I enjoyed your podcast so much. I wanted to include a basic tee in my summer wardrobe so the information you shared will be put to good use immediately.
I’ve heard people say bottom up generally fits better, which I can definitely see being a possibility. I started knitting with top down pieces for the most part as it seems to be the prevalent design style these days :)
The pattern is the Anker top by petite knit. I don’t remember the yarn name specifically because I thrifted it but it was a 50% bamboo 50% merino hand dyed :)
Your video popped up in my suggested videos today. I'm looking at your bookshelf. If you haven't read the Throne of Glass series from Sarah J Maas, you definitely need to!
Thanks for sharing your pattern suggestions. I appreciate the photos for each pattern and your concise descriptions. Newly subscribed. 💜 You might consider creating a bundle on ravelry, so all the patterns are in one place, but not necessary! (Maybe you did and I didn't see it.) 😊 Good presentation.
Thanks for the informative video! I loved that you just get to the point but I am very curious (although I have a hunch) what tee top are you wearing in the video? It’s super cute! 🤗
Your video is very informative! Is the tee you’re wearing a Petite Knits Anker’s pattern? I’ve knit that pattern (children’s version) with Pima cotton yarn for a boxy, summer tee to wear over a spaghetti strap dress. We loved the way it turned out. Thanks for sharing!
There are so many options it’s hard to narrow them down! I tend to be a “yarn first” knitter so I wanted to give a breadth of yarn weight options for whatever you might have in stash :)
Love the Anker top you are wearing. Did you add GSR to add lenght to the back neck & if so how was that done without disturbing the ribbed yoke? Thanks.
I did not, it was one of my earlier projects so I wasn’t as comfortable with modifications at the time. I have a smaller bust so it fits me pretty well without them, but if I were to add them I would probably do a small raise after the ribbed yoke but before splitting for sleeves, which I believe I’ve seen in a few patterns
Ive been looking for the pattern of the tee you are wearing for about six years. i saw a photo of it on some website but it had no identifying information. Ive searched high and low. I’m so excited to see it here. Please, i hope the pattern is included here.
Hi! I picked all of these because they have pretty simple construction so you could probably give any of them a try and be fine. For a total beginner the patterns using DK weight or larger would probably be the most attainable to knit :)
Where can you get your fantastic patterns for most if not all your patterns. Wonderful they are really knit, NOT KNIT CROCHET. Please email me with information .
I really appreciate how when you’re talking about a garment you keep the picture of that garment on the screen for the entire length of the segment. I need that much time to visually look at and evaluate the tea as you’re talking about its benefits and your thoughts on its construction.
I totally agree! I’m a super visual person so I get it :)
Love that you just give the important details instead of talking for 5 or 10 minutes about every pattern! Great Job!
I’m glad it worked for you! I wanted to make sure it wasn’t too lengthy so people could get to all the designs in one go!
Hi I love this format. I appreciate that you keep the photo on the screen while you talk about it. This was a fun compilation. Thank you for your time
Thank you for watching!

I’m so glad, it’s easy to get sucked back into fiber arts for sure! There’s nothing quite like the feeling of making your own garments in my opinion!
😊yw
I like the sweater patterns by yarn weight and appreciate the descriptions, all very nice. Thanks for the great video
Thank you I’m glad you liked it!
Thanks, Emma. I enjoyed your round up. It was rather refreshing to see a number of patterns that are from designers other than those on the hot now leaderboard.
Thank you for watching! I’m glad I was able to spotlight a number of smaller designers :)
THANK YOU! I'm in central Texas where it's already hot and humid. I'm really looking forward to knitting some tees in linen, cotton, and bamboo blends.
Ohhh yes I love a good linen fabric but have yet to knit with it, I’ll have to give it a shot this summer!
Fun countdown of tees. Not sure how I found you, but I like your presentation style. Really nice and to the point. I'll look forward to seeing more of your videos! Thanks.
Thank you, I'm so glad you enjoyed!
What a great list! I love that they are basic tees from lesser known designers. I enjoy finding hidden gems. I cast on the Plain Yoke Tee DK last week. It is a lovely, well-written pattern. Oh, and I love your Anker's!
I actually just cast on the plain yoke tee in the worsted with some stash yarn! I love a good circular yoke :) happy knitting!
Thanks for this! Lots of new-to-me designs, right in time for the season.
Glad to bring you a few new ones!
Very nice presentation, thank you for that! I am most comfortable knitting using size 6 or 7 mm needles but I am planning to expand my horizons and try something on thinner needles. By the way, the nicest garment out of all is the one you are wearing yourself, followed by the Le Havre. Cheers!
Thank you! I find 4mm to be my favorite, it’s comfortable enough on my hands and a large number of pattern options!
Oh my gosh, thank you for mentioning the Le Havre Tee! It’s one of my favourite patterns so far and I’m currently working on my third one 😊
Amazing!!
I really enjoyed getting to know a few new designers. Very well presented and a great choice of Spring/summer garments.
Thank you so much I’m glad I got some new ones in there for people!
Nice selections! Thank you for collecting this list and sharing it with us!
I’m so glad you enjoyed!
I loved your choices. This was my first time watching your podcast. ❤I was happy to see the designer Cleome Smith on your list. She is so underrated but her patterns have multiple gauges so I find them very economical. ❤
Thank you I’m so glad you enjoyed! I definitely found some new favorites in my search :)
I clicked on your video by accident and what a great accident it was. thank you for your suggestions and how you got to the point... awesome..
Thank you I’m so glad you enjoyed!

Thank you so much!! I’m also found some great new designers in my search so glad I could share the love! :)
Thank you for these suggestions! But I was hoping you’d mention the pattern of the sweater you’re wearing also - I love it! 😂
I agree I love the sweater you're wearing
It’s the Anker top by petite knit, I forgot to mention it!
Thank you for this! What a great variety of designers and T's! I appreciate that you shared some lesser known designers.
Thank you for watching! I did my best to pick designers I didn't know or aren't as prominently highlighted on social media!
Thank you for all the inspiration. Great round-up of patterns!
Thank you for watching!
Thanks for your podcast, I really enjoyed it and I like your choices!
Thank you so much!
Love the one you're wearing the best! I plan to purchase that pattern on Ravelry 😊 (Edit: bought it, can't wait to knit it!)
Yes it’s a good one, I love the anker motif!
my current knit is the ozetta moon set tee, it's a lot of straight stockinette but it's soooo beautiful. i appreciate this video, i'm always looking for more tees because it's a knit i always know i'll wear!!!
Yes all over her designs are so pretty!! Stockinette is always worth the time imo, I just wear it the most!
Loved your choices and presentation style. Thank you!

❤️❤️❤️
Great podcast and I too love the Kitty Hawk Tee (in fact I've just bought it as I have yarn in stash to make it!). Thanks for all the information
Oh yay! It’s such an adorable cut of T, I hope your knitting goes well!
I am a first time subscriber and truly enjoyed your presentation on these patterns. Looking forward to seeing more from you ❤

Thank you!! It’s the enter top by petite knit
I like the top you are wearing. I just found it on Petite Knits, Anker Top. Thanks for the nice video!
Great choices & presentation.
I really must get to grips with top down projects. Being English, ive knitted bottom up designs for 50+ years 😂😂😂
I’ve heard people say bottom up generally fits better, which I can definitely see being a possibility. I started knitting with top down pieces for the most part as it seems to be the prevalent design style these days :)
I'm loving these videos, thank you!
Thank you for watching!

Great choices. Well done. New subscriber from Canada. Take care!
Thank you and welcome!!
Would love a lace recommendation, too! I love a good mindless knit in lace stockinette 😅
Next week I have a video coming with not so basic T patterns, with lots of lace options!
Wanting to make lots of Tees and some vests. Just found your podcast and subscribing.
Thank you so much!
I love your sweater! Can you tell me the pattern and yarn please.
I have!! One of my absolute favs, I read them through my library but hoping to get a boxed set for my birthday 😊😊
Thanks for sharing your pattern suggestions. I appreciate the photos for each pattern and your concise descriptions. Newly subscribed. 💜
You might consider creating a bundle on ravelry, so all the patterns are in one place, but not necessary!
(Maybe you did and I didn't see it.) 😊
Good presentation.

Thanks for the informative video! I loved that you just get to the point but I am very curious (although I have a hunch) what tee top are you wearing in the video? It’s super cute! 🤗
It’s the Anker top by petite knit!
Yes it is! I love the piece but it doesn’t have any shaping so I’m not sure if I’d make it again. The yoke design is one of my favorites though!
Love the one your wearing what’s that one ? Great collection you put together
Thank you! It’s the Anker top by petite knit
Loved the yarns and the patterns.
The garter neckline pattern was impressive,
would it work for a crew neckline?
I’m not sure, I think because of the construction it might be a little difficult to modify for a higher neck but you never know!
I would love entire videos for each weight honestly! I usually like fingering and sport the best, and I need more than 2 recommendations for each!
