This is incredible! I've been so frustrated with buying assets, thinking they would work with the image, and then hating them once I actually have them in the image.
And it's not expensive! I was expecting it to be way more expensive but $12/month or whatever it works out to CDN is well within reasonable budget!

The number of useful elements you can create inside Optics without buying assets is pretty staggering.

Is there a video of you shootingr this image?

No unfortunately. I was going to film it but we weren’t sure if it was even going to be used and both David and Obed the model (who is actually a photographer friend) both had to leave on a tight timeline. Was there something you wanted to know more about with the setup? -P

This is a super expensive setup, and ultra-clunky workflow most of us photographers can’t relate to.
Would love to see how you can do the same edit in 5 minutes on an iPad… that would be novel and informative!

Geez, I get the need for fast edits on the go and for Facebook and Instagram, but there comes a certain amount of professionalism needed to do commercial work and high end composites and editing.
Most photographers already use Lightroom and photoshop and adding a single plugin doesn’t seems clunky or expensive at all IMO.
I too would love to see a 5 min edit of this image on the iPad as well. Heck, I’d love to just see the canvas stretch and added lights to the background edit on an iPad app. 🤷🏻‍♂️-P

"Most of us photographers." Lol. Come on Patrick, show us how to shoot this on our phone, add a filter or two, and then go viral on Tiktok.
