Since I didn't comment on yesterday's video, I'm really happy you got to see the guys again and give them a proper goodbye. Also glad to hear that you were able to lighten your load to some degree. Although, I'm sure that with more cold weather gear it's not quite as lite as when you were only packing your warm weather gear. This looked like a stunning day for hiking, I'm certain your camera didn't do the colors justice from the mountain top or from the fire tower. You keep mentioning how you're not ready for the trail to end. I'm pretty sure that if you decided to keep going and the weather held out, you could hike all the way back to Damascus, VA without too much problem due to storm damage if you chose to do so. I also think there's some guy named Michael down that way that might be happy to see you again. Keep doing you, Mosey!
Regarding the previous comment, about Damascus, VA, that’s near Mount Rogers, VA. I live within sight of Mount Rogers. This morning, I could see heavy frost / light snow / light ice, on Mount Rogers, and surrounding mountains. Just FYI. Good luck. 😊
What a glorious video: autumn views are different than the usual AT thru hiker! You’re giving us amazing gifts!
A good day back on trail! Stunning views!

That climb up mt. Cube and Smarts is no joke. Thanks for the video
But Trapper John is a cool site. Crapper John is also interesting. Gotta love college students.
No one’s watching for fires in there huh? I’ve always wanted that job.
