I flew air ambulance in Colorado for several years, the Captain did a pretty good job of describing the job but one thing I felt was a great deal of personal satisfaction by helping people truly in need.

I’d love to fly in a private jet, but if I ever find myself in one of these I don’t think I would be having a good day. I think the PC-24 will be popular conversion for air ambulances, soft field capabilities would open up several locations.

I also prefer the PC-24, especially with it having single-pilot capabilities, among all the other capabilities it offers. But it has a lot less range than the Latitude, and range seems to be the Air Ambulance Services main priority.
If someone were to make a single-pilot tri-jet with all the capabilities of a PC-24 but the range of a Latitude (preferably even more) I would snap it right up with the $10-20 million that I don't have. It'd have a waiting list that all manufacturers dream of, that's for sure.

@@JB-so5gr if range is primary, accessibility should be secondary.
Im suprised they didnt use the PC-24.
Unless the Latitutde has the same soft-strip capabilities.

The range and speed are the major requirements I believe. Single pilot ops is also out of the question. The Latitude is meant for quick long range transport between Svalbard/Northern Norway and the major hospitals in Southern Norway, while the King Airs does most of the hard labor in the regions where the runways usually are around 800-1000m long.

Parker B: Yes, you would be having a very bad day, but what an aircraft to have a bad day in!

Wow, that is some machine for an ambulance. I would love to ride in that aircraft, but I am not going to get hurt just to do it, but looks wonderful. Nice and fast as well.

Awesome. Thanks for the video. I am a bit smarter for watching. For those who will need to use this aircraft..it will make a difference.

Textron may have bought Cessna but they need to give up. No one knows them, but Cessna literally taught the world to fly.

Textron is well known by millions and is one of the larger publicly traded corporations in the USA and happens to employ almost 40000 people.

Perhaps, but that is stock. As an aviator and A&P my pubs and part guides say cessna. Plus most of the assembly line personnel I've met don't think of themselves as textron employees. They think of beech, bell, and cessna. I'm referring to the conglomerate effect. While good for stock dividens is ultimately soulless. Walter Beech and Clyde Cessna go back to travel air and the founding of an industry. Besides short of a citation sales rep. See if anyone at airventure says they have a textron.

@@mikewaterfield3599 Gulfstream employees think they work for Gulfstream and not General Dynamics or Jet Aviation. People that own gulfstream jets don't refer to their jets as Grummans, GD's, AAC's, or Jet Aviations.
