I don’t think k it’s fair to say Sadiq advocated to King Promise cos of Sallafest. It’s very misinforming and deceptive. That’s not true. If you were on an agenda to support Stonebwoy that doesn’t prevent another to support others. So stop undermining others cos they were against your favorite. It’s disingenuous. Sadiq has always been one who advocates for a new generation of artistes and upcoming ones who are doing well. He’s done that for a long time since his time with 3music awards. The yr in review doesn’t end in Dec 2023 but almost half way into 2024. So if Sadiq had showed support for Stonebwoy in 2023, does that mean he can’t change his mind when another artiste has showed potential in the subsequent months? This rhetoric is illogical and doesn’t make sense. King Promise had worked hard too and a lot of people felt it was his time. If the others in the category didn’t deserve to be there and win the artiste of the yr, then why were they added in the nominations? If what you guys are saying cos you’re in Stone’s camp is to go by then they shouldn’t have nominated anyone else then. They should have just nominated stone alone and given him the award since no one else was deserving. This sort of mindset is ridiculous!
