"Da Day Dawn" (Shetland traditional, arranged by Ailie Robertson)
29 June 2024, ca. 3 years and 8 months since I started to learn the harp.
In this video I play Salvi Hermes, a 40-string, lever harp.
I quote from Ailie's description;
"One of the oldest tunes we have in Scotland, DA DAY DAWN was used to welcome in New Year's Day in Shetland, and was played by the fiddler in the village who would go from house to house in the morning."
