I like to listen to this when I'm going to my favorite themepark on a sunny day!! Sorry, but I've known The Sisters Of Mercy since 1986...they are like breathing air to me!
This song is perfect to listen to on a dark rainy day, along with ''All cats are grey - The cure'' Nice to just lie there, doing nothing else, no facebook, no msn, just sit there and listen to the music.
I have been immersed in a Floodland for the past few days. It is so good to visit with Sisters at a time like this. It's been 23 years since I bought an audio-cassette (remember those..lol!) with just a fragment of "Neverland" on it. Thank you for posting this completed version. "Dream of the flood..."
Makes me want to crawl under silk sheets and never rise agan....this love ...can never be replaced by another....Sisters....will always make one feel like you are surviving.....
Oh no, the track itself doesn't cut out, but rather at the time I uploaded this, RUclips didn't allow videos longer than 10 minutes, so I unfortunately had to sacrifice the outro in order to even fit this on here
I had this vision. You know in the summer if you lay on the grass and stare at the sky, you can almost see beyond the stars, but cannot quite get a grip on what's there? Well, sometimes it's very difficult to work out exactly what it is that keeps you pressed between the earth and the sky and why you don't whoosh off into oblivion."
Just discovered this, I always thought Neverland was simply unfinished. Buying the song shortly. Thought I'd never again experience any "new" SoM material after buying the Under the Gun single when it came out.
I'm sitting in front of my 250 watt speaker fucked up as hell listening to this song. The bass line is causing my beer can to rattle in my hand. This song is amazing.
I've had two strikes so far [with some old Mission stuff] But ever since adding my little note at the bottom of each video description, I've been safe. =) And thanks, I completely agree
Neverland is coming about this the other way: the entire population of the earth starting to travel from some indefinable point in space toward the earth at increasing speed. It would take an eternity to reach the earth - by which time you'd be reasonably spiritualised - and even when you reached the destination, you wouldn't actually hit the ground. You'd be going so fast you'd just go through and out the other side, where there is another eternity of nothingness. - Eldritch on this song.
@Aphrodizzle There really is no escape, they have been my top band since I learned about them 5 years ago, and I still listen to them daily. Glad you enjoy! :)
It's actually a slightly modified version of the Gray's Anatomy cover, which can be found through a google search [since it won't let me link to it here :/] SoM took it, reversed it, and simplified it to fit with the band, and viola, it has come to symbolize The Sisters just as much as it does Anatomy
Unintentionally picked in that way, but yes, I do see it now! :3 These are the songs that I feel have a connection with :) A strange feeling comes over me when I listen to stuff like that...
In no perticular order (well, maybe a little ;D) 1. some kind of stranger 2. lights 3. afterhours (I'm surprised I haven't seen this on anyone's favourites!) 4. burn 5. Amphetamine logic
@DarkLord61636 my personal sisters top-five: 1. heartland 2. marian (version) 3. temple of love (extendend version) 4. black planet 5. neverland ...and many other s.o.m songs. :-)
Don't your songs ever get taken off by youtube? Anyway , cool of you puttin' them on (even if I have got most of the sisters stuff that's available on CD) 'cuz the whole world should get to know them
Oh, what the heck...I'll jump on the bandwagon. In no particular order: 1. Neverland 2. Ribbons 3. Driven Like The Snow 4. Marian 5. Lucretia My Reflection
It's funny with TSOM.. they have problems with song length i think. This one is too long and "the fragment" version is too short. The same with "Train" and "Long Train" etc.

Haunting, entrancing, relaxing, awaking, mystifying... so much feelings in one song.
driving along a road at night and listen to that...priceless!

This Song is badass cool ! 🖤
Bought Black Planet on vinyl in 1986 - still feel the same about the Sisters. Very, very, good.
Makes me want to crawl under silk sheets and never rise agan....this love ...can never be replaced by another....Sisters....will always make one feel like you are surviving.....
My picks: Nine While Nine, Flood II, Driven Like the Snow, Rock and a Hard Place, and Some Kind of Stranger.
This is just great, so atmospheric, noone could do dark, heavy, brooding music like Andrew Eldritch.
Wohl die beste Band der Welt, GENIAL!!!
Such a great band.
Oh no, the track itself doesn't cut out, but rather at the time I uploaded this, RUclips didn't allow videos longer than 10 minutes, so I unfortunately had to sacrifice the outro in order to even fit this on here
I was always pissed at how short Never Land (A Fragment) was because it's so good. Thanks for posting the full version.

This is the kind of music to listen when it's raining hard !
This is just epic and stunning.

Just discovered this, I always thought Neverland was simply unfinished. Buying the song shortly. Thought I'd never again experience any "new" SoM material after buying the Under the Gun single when it came out.

FREE PHRENOLOGY LESSONS!!!!!!! cool : )
is this the extended version of "Neverland" included on the recent re-issue of "Floodland" or is this another demo version of the song?
It's funny with TSOM.. they have problems with song length i think. This one is too long and "the fragment" version is too short. The same with "Train" and "Long Train" etc.
