Juliana 15th Birthday (December 4, 2016)

Today, our youngest daughter, Juliana turns 15 years old. She is not here to blow out her candles on a birthday cake or open gifts. She was taken from us. The pain of Juliana not being with our family is beyond description. Juliana's light and life has touched the world but she was only getting started. Her life was cut short. She will not be able to become a chef or get married or be a mommy. She will never be able to hold her grandchildren or impact the planet in a bigger way. Juliana's courage has inspired millions but she was not finished her fight...she was not finished touching more people's lives. She was not finished showing people how to keep pushing forward in the middle of pain and discouragement. I will NEVER be as strong as Juliana.
Tammy and I ACHE with the darkness that engulfs our soul. Juliana's siblings are hurting because their baby sister is no longer with them. It's SO unfair...it's so WRONG that she is gone.
