I hope you went and lay down in the shade with a cool drink after the wall walk. How cool, though, having an ancient wall as your backyard boundary. I wonder if people grow stuff up it on their side. I'm thinking espaliered fruit trees, very Tradescant. This was a very good episode, thank you.
Thank you Liz 😊 We certainly went and sought out some shade, it was very hot indeed. I don’t think they would allow people to grow stuff up against it as the roots would damage the wall. It sure would look lovely though.
