Extremely helpful video thank you. Two points I'd add for others, is that 1) an option to the self adhesive tape trick on the rear dome, is to use the tip of the plastic tool and push the bulb out from behind (in between the two contacts) 2) Vanity mirror LED, on the basis the first one you removed is by getting the tool in nearest the centre of the car, but on the other side on my car, it wasn't from the centre, it was also from the left side (when looking out the windshield). there wasn't enough loose wire to return fit it any other way, so perhaps all A3's are the same as mine.
The glovebox was the worst. What i eventually did that worked for me was literally disconnect that housing and inserted the new LED in and reconnect the housing. I blew a few the first time I tried this....I recommend disconnecting the housing.
I’m stuck between a Audi A3 and a Mercedes A class A180 CDI. I prefer the interior on a Mercedes like the fresh board etc, but the main bit is like the hub above the gearstick. How do I change the screen and knobs etc so it looks more modern and not like a mums car. Thanks.
The mirror vanity lights would use a 36mm festoon type bulb which you can find here: www.precisionled.com/shop-by-led/automotive-leds/festoon-36mm-led.html
So I replaced the lights like how u showed in the video, but now when all the doors r closed the lights r still kinda on. It seems like they have some power to them to stay on like 1% Is there a way for them to completely be off or do u knw why there still kinda on
Did you install our PLED LEDs? This can happen when installing a lower quality non-Canbus bulb. This is the reason why we only carry Canbus products. A lower quality bulb may still have some power running through it when the car is off, which causes the light to slightly illuminate.
Hello! I have an 2017 A3 and I want to change the interior lights, but I don’t know if you sell your products in my country or if I can find them. Thanks for you video, it’s awesome
Hi what is the link to purchase this light set? Also Audi scares me and I want to make sure I don’t receive any sort of error message as well while changing them?
Hi! Check out the description box below the video for links to our interior lighting kits. We only sell high quality Canbus LEDs to ensure you do not experience any dash errors, flickering, or other issues!
I believe the footwells would be stock LEDs. However, if this is not the case, then they would use the T10 fitment, which you can find here: www.precisionled.com/premium-t10-canbus-6smd-5730-led.html
PLEASE HELP I just tried installing LED interior lights on my 2016 A3 but right when I snapped my 4th LED into place I heard a small pop noise and then all my interior lights went out! (the ones I had converted to LED as well as the old lights all of them instantly went out) I probably blew whatever fuse controls the interior lights correct? Is that a common thing to happen when attempting to upgrade to LED's? Thanks everyone for your thoughts!
You most likely blew a fuse, which can happen if you are not using quality CANBus LEDs. However, you would just need to replace the fuse and then you are good to go!

Extremely helpful video, well thought though and not rushed. Selotape trick masterful! Many thanks!
great video, thanks and greetings from Scotland
Thank you for your support!
Thank you for your video - everything worked fine (Audi RS3 8V)

I learned the hard way, blew a fuse 😩
Nice but one question. Is it weird that the Vanity Mirror LED makes a buzzing noise when light is on? Using Premium LED. Thanks.

Thank you, this is very helpful my friend. It saved me a lot of time.
Happy to hear that, thanks for tuning in!
Hi,
What size (in mm) are the led bulbs for the vanity mirror lights?
The mirror vanity lights would use a 36mm festoon type bulb which you can find here:

Probably if installing cheap led without reverse protection in the wrong way

Nice
Thanks!!
Perfect.
Parfait j’ai reussi a changer toutes mes ampoules.
Merci d'avoir regardé!
the last one where is?
The last LED installed in this video is the trunk light which you can find here:
www.precisionled.com/t10-canbus-5-smd-led.html
Perché rimangono accese e non si spengono
si alguien ve este comentario, mejor no cambies el de la guantera, es probable que fundas el fusible, me acaba de pasar
$102 for everything including reverse lights 😳
