that is my favourite exhaust removal tool, since buying that it's my go to tool for cutting most things 😂 if gap is to tight then reciprocating saw, I imagine dewalt sell equivalent, they would make life easier than the multi tool, exhaust looks and sounds good though 👍
Would have been interesting to see the difference in weight between the two systems.
Will u ever put a sports cat on it ?
I want too but I don’t know if it will pass an MOT with it? And also it has to be below a certain decibel to rally
@dadskillzcars I think a sports cat will pass but a decat definitely won't lol
00:26 OH NO, you have no idea what you are doing! The paper element has a surface area 13 times bigger than the cone, so the cone needs holes 13 times BIGGER to pass the same amount of air through it. That means lots of dirt going in. It also blocks up faster and degrades performance compared to a paper element. They *REDUCE PERFORMANCE* as the noise you hear is the sound of air being restricted through it. You are further making it worse by sucking in all that lovely hot air to degrade performance.
Jesus, are Sportex still going? I remember testing them against the long-gone Peco range. Neither do anything for performance, they just resonate at certain frequencies to annoy others and make you think it's got another 300BHP.
I spent years testing car bits on rolling roads on diesel and petrol NA and turbo cars. All the "performance" parts on sale are a con really, aimed at the boy racer market. They are for people with low power cars that think they can get a lot more by spending a fair amount of money. It's sad to see the same tricks used to this day.
