This is how the ladies see the world and are expressing it with their music. The entire album is from their point of view. It is a very intelligent and mature album for their ages at the time (2017).
Indeed, it’s very intelligent, especially considering that these kids were born in this century and an online culture is all they know. So, to actually realize that there is a better way, or at least a more balanced and healthier way to live is genius. Obviously, we all came to know about The Warning through the internet, and frankly, I’m hooked on their music and performances via internet, so it’s not all bad...haha...but certainly a balance is needed.
You nailed it. They do touch on other socioeconomic issues, but our reliance on technology is the primary focus of the song. I much prefer songs with depth that deal with more than a breakup or a budding romance. Hail to the little girls tacking adult issues. Now that they are adult (pretty much), I can't wait to see what they have for us on this new album, and the one after that, and the...well, you get the picture.
A great "primal scream" opening to an absolutely great first LP by The Warning! It is interesting to note that all three sisters are indeed "XXI Century Blood". Unfortunately this is the only "official" video in their catalog. Check out their set at Dakota Bar 2018 for the best live performances of this album. Cheers!
Every time I hear a new song (new to me) by The Warning I think its fantastic and call it my favorite. My "Warning" favorite song list is getting pretty long, lol 👍👍This IS my new favorite song by them!! Loved everything about it.

Dany's solo work is soulful, passionate, Gilmoresque. She expresses a lot of emotion through all of her guitar work whether it's rhythm or lead.

My thought is that he "took the plunge" and gave up the technology - and it doesn't kill you. He gets right up at the end.
